Take a trip to Lake Kawaguchi Kachikachi. Ride the mountain cable car and marvel at the stunning scenery along the way. The Observatory, situated at an altitude of 1,075 meters, offers a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. On clear days, you can even see the Southern Alps. At the mountain’s peak, there is a bell tower known as “The Bell of Heaven.” It is believed that ringing it will make your wishes come true.

Inspired by Osamu Dazai’s story, the gondolas and observation decks are adorned with tanuki and bunny dolls, perfect for photo opportunities. The cable car ride from Mt. Amagami to Mt. Kachikachi takes about 3 minutes to reach the observation deck at 1,075 meters, where you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. On clear days, the Southern Alps, including Mount Akaashi and Mount Arakawa, are also visible.

  • Oshino Hakkai - Visit the sweet spring at Oshino Hakkai in the “Jiuzhaigou Valley” at the foot of Mount Fuji (approximately 60 minutes).

Oshino Hakkai consists of eight clear springs formed by filtering snowmelt from Mount Fuji through the ground. Renowned for its picturesque natural beauty, Oshino Hakkai’s sparkling waters perfectly complement the stunning Mount Fuji. This breathtaking scenery attracts countless photographers from afar. Oshino Hakkai is a nationally designated natural monument.
