Old-style swordplay after samurai experience - If you came to Japan, let's go here. I was able to learn swordplay with fun while feeling the Bushido spirit through careful instruction that was close to each person. You can eat delicious matcha and cute Japanese sweets at the break. Located in Kojimachi, Tokyo, Ken self-defense is recommended because of its proximity to the station and convenient transportation.

I feel like a samurai. - I learned a lot from the English explanation. I admire Bushido. He taught me how to bow, how to handle a sword, and how to behave. I was happy to wear a hakama for the first time. I felt like a samurai. Matcha and Japanese sweets were also delicious during the break. They take pictures and videos. It was a good memory.

You can enjoy and learn about traditional Japanese culture at Koryu Swordplay Experience - I am interested in martial arts and applied for the Old Style swordplay experience. The trial lesson was two hours long, but the content was very strong. A teacher also had you instruct it very kindly. You can explain in English at the same time, so I definitely recommend it to foreign tourists interested in Japanese culture! I felt that it would be a great opportunity to put on a hakama, have an authentic experience, and learn a wide range of things, such as the mind of Bushido like the Blade of Demon Destruction. During the break, we also had matcha 🍵 and Japanese sweets. These days, the times are fast, so I recommend you to try it out to reaffirm the Japanese culture 🇯🇵 that has built your country for both Japanese and young people! Thank you very much.

Experience Bushido - Bushido is being lost in modern Japan. You can learn what the essence of Bushido is from both a spiritual and practical perspective. This is the fundamental learning for understanding Japan. It was the first time in my life as a Japanese to be exposed to koryu swordsmanship, and I was very satisfied to be able to experience the origin of the art both physically and mentally. Sightseeing in Japan is of course recommended, but I believe that by learning about Japanese spirituality, you can get closer to the essence of what was the driving force behind Japan's breakthrough. It will be an experience that will have a great impact on your sense of values in life.

First Samurai Experience and Japanese Swords - The spirit of Bushido and the practice of swordplay are one. This is the only place where you can experience that bilingually. Moreover, it is easy to get to because it is a koji town in central Tokyo, and the facilities are new and clean.

The tension of old-style swordplay feels good - I would like to re-join with my friends from overseas [Koryu Swordplay Samurai Experience]. Even if you come all the way to Japan, you don't get a chance to experience Japanese culture. Here, students received a lecture on the concept and characteristics of Japanese martial arts at the dojo, which is located in the center of Tokyo but also actually holds swordsmanship training, and then experienced the basic techniques of the old style of swordsmanship. Moreover, there is an easy-to-understand English interpretation! During the break, the participants enjoyed talking with each other about matcha and Japanese sweets. After the break, they learned the traditional swordplay kata and even videotaped the battle between the pair. I feel like an actor in a period drama! The tension of the old school swordplay is pleasant. Thank you for the valuable experience.

It was very careful. - It was a polite explanation and teaching method. I played kendo when I was a student, and I think I understand the difference a little bit. I'd like to go again if the timing works.

SAMURAI 体験 - It is interesting to learn new things. First, I wore the hakama by that staff. Next, I experienced a tea ceremony. And, I held a sword and moved like a samurai. I was able to take photos. I had a very valuable experience.

You can experience Bushido in central Tokyo! - I don’t think there are many places where you can experience Bushido. I felt it was also valuable in the sense of scarcity. I enjoyed the experience and became more interested.
