Discover hidden Izakayas in Tokyo’s Ginza with a local guide. Savor fresh, seasonal dishes and explore charming, off-the-beaten-path spots.
- Marunouchi - The first stop on the tour features fresh fish from Tsukiji Market and high-quality Japanese sake from across Japan. The menu changes daily based on what the owner procures from the fish market. Guests can choose how they want their fish prepared, whether as sashimi, nitsuke (steamed with soy sauce or miso), grilled, or in soup. You can also order a cup of sake to pair with your dishes. The guide will offer recommendations, so no need to worry.
- Ginza Mitsukoshi - Our guide will take you to the basement of the Mitsukoshi building, where a wide variety of beautifully wrapped food and drinks are sold, with some places offering free tastings.
- Ginza - The Tokyo guide is also a professional photographer and will take night portraits of guests at the main Ginza crossing.
- Ginza - The second stop features Japanese chicken skewers grilled over Japanese charcoal. One drink is included, and you can order whatever you like.
- Ginza - The final stop of the tour offers a variety of Japanese small dishes cooked in the traditional “robatayaki” style. “Robata” means fireside, and “yaki” means grilled. The meal includes skewered meat, vegetables, and seafood. Two drinks are included.

Imagine yourself wandering through the lively streets of Ginza, accompanied by an experienced foodie guide who is also a professional photographer. With his guidance, you’ll immerse yourself in the essence of Japanese food culture, enjoying local delicacies and drinks at genuine izakaya restaurants, all while having beautiful photos taken to remember an unforgettable evening.
Your culinary journey will take you to three different off-the-beaten-path izakaya restaurants, each specializing in a specific type of cuisine such as seafood or skewers. This tour includes at least seven dishes and four drinks across the three izakayas.
When it comes to drinks, since most izakayas excel in sake, it’s only fitting that you sample the best sake pairings recommended by your guide. For those who prefer other beverages, a variety of drink options are available.
As the night progresses, your guide will capture memorable moments in stunning photographs, which will be shared with you at no extra cost. This experience is not just a tour but also an opportunity to connect with a friendly local guide!
