Your guide will lead you to a hidden rooftop terrace offering stunning views of Tokyo Station, the Tokyo skyline, and passing trains from above!
- Japan Sake and Shochu Information Center - Next, stroll to a modern and chic Sake and Shochu center where you can taste a variety of Sake, Shochu, and Amazake (a non-alcoholic rice drink). Your guide will share interesting facts about Japan’s national beverages, and you can enjoy a relaxing tasting session. The center features bilingual documentaries on the brewing process for your enjoyment! If children are on the tour, the guide will provide soft drinks or juice options for them.
- DAWN | Avatar Robot Cafe ver.β - After your lunch break, experience a unique refreshment break at a Robot Cafe! Order your preferred drink and enjoy being served by robots offering both hot and cold beverages. While seated in the cafe area (not the diner), watch as robots serve customers! This cafe is special as all robots are remotely controlled by employees with disabilities who work from home. The remote staff communicate through the robots, providing employment opportunities for those unable to work in physically demanding jobs and helping to combat social isolation. Feel good knowing you are supporting a wonderful cause! You can even try controlling a small robot to experience what it’s like for the staff.
- Fukagawa Edo Museum - The final stop is a nearby museum, unlike any other. It features a life-sized replica of a traditional Edo period townscape! Step back in time as you explore the townscape, entering houses and buildings, and interacting with the objects and artifacts on display. It’s a fantastic way to learn about life during the Edo period and how Tokyo once appeared. The sounds and lights change with the time of day for authenticity. Occasionally, you can try on a Kimono, so if we’re fortunate, we can dress in traditional attire.
- Kiyosumi Park - Take a train to the Kuramae and Kiyosumi area, a trendy and hidden gem away from the usual tourist paths! The first stop here is a traditional and beautiful Japanese Edo period garden where you can stroll and enjoy the surrounding nature. The garden features traditional elements like rocks, bridges, a rest house, and Bonsai. You can also spot turtles, suppon, and herons here! Relish the tranquility, nature, and wildlife! You can also collect a commemorative stamp as a souvenir of your day!
