Great tour of Tokyo - We finished our full day tour of Tokyo! We did not have time to do a lot of research prior to our trip. Adi our driver and guide had great suggestions and had a plan for the day. He was however flexible with deleting then adding different stops. The highlight was an impromptu stop to view the beautiful ginko trees which are only in peak season for 8 days! My husband had an upset stomach at the end of the day and Adi was able to stop at a market so we could get something to help my husband feel better. I would highly recommend this company and Adi for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable tour of a beautiful city!

Outstanding Private Tokyo Tour! - Adeel was the perfect guide for our Tokyo adventure, expertly leading us through Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo Skytree, Senso-ji Temple, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Shibuya Crossing. As a fluent English speaker with deep knowledge of Japanese culture, he crafted an ideal itinerary that covered all these highlights while avoiding tourist traps. His insights into Japanese history and traditions added incredible depth to each location we visited. What made this tour special was Adeel's genuine enthusiasm and expertise. He took us to an amazing local sushi spot for lunch that we'd never have discovered on our own, and his perfect timing helped us avoid crowds throughout the day. His knowledge of the best photo locations and offer to take our pictures for us meant we captured beautiful memories of our trip. If you want to experience Tokyo with a knowledgeable, professional guide who goes above and beyond, book with Ohayo. This tour was absolutely the highlight of our Japan trip, and we're already booked for another tour with him in Kyoto! Just be sure to book well in advance - you won't regret it!

Great Tour with Adeel - but Tour Company communications could be clearer - We had a great day with Adeel in Tokyo. He was professional, courteous, knowledgable and friendly. He knew the best places for photographs and also added an extra stop for us (Odaiba, well worth the visit). He advised us of best shops to go to for certain souvenirs we were after and was helpful to me when I felt a little unwell. The only star that is missing is down to the Tour Company rather than Adeel. We had asked to replace Fish Market with Nezu Shrine but Adeel had not been made aware of this so he ended up driving back on himself for one part. Also, upon booking you have the option to add a guide as well as a driver for an extra $100. On the day, Adeel explained there was no extra guide available but he would do both jobs, which was fine. At the end of the tour, the company informed him to ask us for the extra $100 which became a little awkward for both Adeel and myself. If ordering the extra guide, I would recommend clarifying with the Tour Company on the day prior to the tour whether you will get one and, if not, also clarify you will not need to pay the extra.

Warning: do not take this tour - This was a beyond-scandalous “non-guided” tour for the price of $729.00. Yasir was simply a driver, not a guide by any stretch. He did not speak English well - which we would have understood if he were Japanese, but he was from another country. He had a few memorized statistics for each spot and was unable to answer our questions. He would simply repeat the 3-4 dates he had memorized. He hadn’t even heard of Golden Gai. We expected a commentary as we drove through the city but he had no history or cultural information to impart whatsoever. Silence, although he was prepared to tell us about his family. We passed interesting building after intriguing city neighborhood, with no insight given. He didn’t tell us that the Imperial Palace was closed that day and that he was changing the tour to begin with the fish market. We had just had breakfast at the hotel and therefore were too full to try the delectable food choices offered at the market - a major reason to go. When arriving at a temple, he simply dropped us at the locale and let us do the exploring for an hour and a half. We didn’t even know where to head within a large area just as the Sensoji Temple or what to look for. He offered to add an additional site at the end, presumably to make up for the Imperial Palace being cut, but he suggested a 250 m tower - when it was raining and overcast, with no view to be had up there, obviously. We might have chosen another place but it was our first day in Tokyo and we were relying on the $729 tour guide to suggest places. He was useless, however. The van’s glass was tinted so the city looked dark - I’m not sure why this would be used as a sightseeing vehicle At the end of the tour he tried to pressure us into giving him a five-star review right in the car. This is presumably how they garnered the reviews they published. For a wonderful tour experience, we would suggest the tour we took the next day, the 6-hr walking tour with Japan Guide Agency (booked through Viator). Our guide on that tour, Tatsunobu Narita (Ted) was amazing and we gained so much knowledge and insight - thankfully going to most of the same sights we had visited on this terrible tour. Please do not waste your money on this - you’d be better off to take an alternate tour or take cabs to the different locations and donate the rest to a good cause!
