Historical garden tour - Did the tour in winter so the garden was dormant however Wakana, our tour guide, was phenomenal. Super friendly and wealth of information about Japanese history and culture. As an added plus she also gave us advice on local restaurants and even things to see and do around Kyoto. Would highly recommend any tour with Wakana.

Great tour! - Kei was awesome! She was super knowledgeable and very accommodating! The imperial palace grounds was very cool to walk through and it was definitely worth having a guide to give you history of the area!

Exceptionally personalized tour with Emi was a highlight of trip! - This was a highlight of our trip. Emi was our guide and made the tour exceptional. While we have been to Tokyo before and walked the Imperial Palace grounds, Emi provided us with a deep understanding of the traditions and people that inhabited the property. Thank you Emi for a wonderful tour!!!

Great tour with a great guide - Mikeo was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. She made the trip engaging and full of historical facts with some jokes. It was a great tour. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and Informative Tour - This tour was located at a great location and full of beautiful views. The best part of the tour was having Mieko as my tour guide. Not only was she informative and sweet, but she has an amazing sense of humor. If you’re going to book a tour, ask if it’s Mieko! Also, there’s a cool Hello Kitty handkerchief available at the gift shop for all you Sanrio fans.

Highly recommended tour for families - Emi was a formidable guide on our tour today. She is very knowledgeable and gave a lot of historical background to the whole Imperial Palace Gardens area. She answered all our questions patiently and gave the group enough time to take photos and experience the various tour highlights. It is definitely highly recommended and a perfect tour for families!

Great experience, Great guide! - Mei was the absolute best! She has a great personality, is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the palace. It was really, REALLY cold on our tour but it didn’t matter. She did her best to keep us in the sun at every possible moment. We highly recommend this tour and hope you and your party get Mei as the guide! 5 stars for sure
