Edro III Shipwreck - The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III ran aground off Pegeia on 8 October 2011 in heavy seas, during a voyage to Rhodes, from Limassol, Cyprus with a cargo of plasterboard. At the time of the accident, the ship had nine crew members – seven Albanians and two Egyptians. The crew were rescued and airlifted to the safety of Paphos by a local British Military helicopter.

Blue Lagoon - As soon as you reach the latchi port, follow the guide and embark on a boat cruise to the Blue Lagoon. Take in the wonderful views of the coastline and enjoy some wine or juice on the boat at Blue lagoon, as well as fresh fruit (compliment of the captain)

The program combines two fascinating journeys: bus and sea cruise trips. The trip will take us to the Sea Caves, a unique work of nature. Not far from there is the Edro III shipwreck. Also on our journey to the Latchi Village from Paphos, we’ll notice the Banana Plantations. At the harbor of the Latchi Village, we’ll board the boat which will take us to the Blue Lagoon, where our parking space is the best and closest to the beach. So you can jump or slide down into the crystal clear water, swim a few meters and stand up on your feet touching the sea bottom. During the stop, the captain will treat us with local wine (red & white), orange juice and seasonal fruit, as well as with life jackets and snorkeling masks. The boat rides back to Latchi, where you may devote your free time to lunch and rest. After that, we’ll visit the Akamas Botanical Garden, where in a cozy corner lies a grotto with the romantic name Baths of Aphrodite. From this spot after a relaxed day, we’ll start our journey back to Paphos.
