A perfect day! - We had such a good trip to Zakopane! Our tour guide Joanna was amazing, so funny and informative - she put in so much effort to make sure our day was amazing and had so many recommendations for each area we went to. Chochołow was beautiful, the wooden buildings and the church are absolutely gorgeous and all my friends loved learning about highlander culture from Joanna - especially seeing the photos of their traditional clothing! The cheese and vodka tasting was lovely too, so delicious - we all bought cheese to take back home. Zakopane itself was gorgeous, we all had a trip on the luge/gravity slide and had some delicious traditional Polish food in a restaurant recommended by Joanna - loved experiencing the incredibly dramatic thunder. The hot springs were a perfect way to end the day, we had drinks in the outside pool bar (until the lightning got too close - still very dramatic) then did some of the slides and went to the silence and relaxation zone (again, as recommended by Joanna!) It was a lovely day, so well planned out with the perfect amount of time in each place and we would all go a second time!

Trip to Zakopane - A lovely day out . Picked up promptly at our hotel. And stopped off in chocolowe to meet our very friendly and informative tour guide Joanne. She told us everything we needed to know and gave us wats app updates of places to eat when we got to Zakopane. We took a quick visit inside the upside down house at Zakopane which was fun and a bit dizzy. At the thermal springs we had a problem locating my daughter's nike tdainers and Joanne went back to security and got them to open lockers to find the trainers. A superb day out.

Mountains are beautiful! - Joanna was a fantastic host did everything she could do to make the day enjoyable. You get to spend a lot of time wondering around on your own which was great. Like other reviews the bus is a bit tight I was not too bad as I’m a shorty but still was invaded by the rude people in front of me who kept putting the seat back. Thermal baths is just a swimming pool complex very busy but was nice to unwind in the relaxing adults part for the last of the trip. But I didn’t let it ruin the day. It is a bit expensive for what it was but I’m glad I went the mountains are spectacular and all in all a good day out.

Well worth a visit - Our host was Weronika and she was amazing and made what was already a very enjoyable day that much better with her approachable and bubbly personality. Nothing was too much trouble. The cheese and vodka tasting was fab in the traditional style huts with the mountain backdrop, the stunning weather also made the experience that much more enjoyable. The stop off in the town was a good opportunity to see some of the less touristy parts of Poland too. Finally the stop off at the ski resort provides a great opportunity to look around the stalls, buy souvenirs and have a bite to eat and you get 2.5 hours to roam at your own leisure. Then back on the bus to the thermal baths which were an amazing way to unwind after a long busy day. Lots of jacuzzi's and pools both indoor and outdoor to enjoy not to mention the pool bar. There is a sauna but be warned this comes at additional cost. From start to finish the experience is hassle free, your host will contact you the day before on WhatsApp to confirm pick up time and then you are added to a group chat with the others on the tour where your host can share information and communicate with you throughout the day.

Disappointing - I was here several times as a child, 55 years ago on holiday and very excited as it is today. Pure disappointment....the whole place I found to be the only Chinese/Polish market, appalling! We took the gubalowka lift for hiking up the mountain, again this picture. Paved path ,kilometers long ..and only china market and bluster. Hardly anything to see of the mountains. Some hiking trails must also be paid for. What we really liked was the typical zakopane architecture and the rides with the horse-drawn carriage.otherwise, nothing like away and never again. Too bad about the dreamlike nature I remember fondly.
