Chongqing - In the morning, your driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00am and transfer you to Chongqing city center for a day tour.

People’s Assembly Hall - Your first stop will be The People’s Hall of Chongqing, a landmark built in 1954 to commemorate China’s resistance war and the establishment of the new government. It is also one of the top 10 classic architectures in 20th century Asia.

Stilwell Museum - Next, you will visit the Chongqing Stilwell Museum - The Flying Tiger Memorial, which was once an important lodging place for VIPs during the war against Fascism.

Ciqikou (Porcelain Port) - After the museum, your guide will take you to taste authentic Chongqing Hot Pot (steam bowl), a popular and well-known dish in China. You will challenge this hot and spicy dish for lunch to understand its popularity. In the afternoon, you will visit Ciqikou old town, named for its ancient Chinaware production. It is also a great place to explore local folklore.

E’ling Park - Your last stop in Chongqing will be Eling Park, the highest scenic location where you can enjoy aerial views of the entire city.

Chongqing - Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel, concluding the tour.

Chongqing - Dazu Carvings. O/N Chongqing.

Chongqing - Today, you will head to Dazu County for a full day of sightseeing (your guide will meet you at 08:30 in your hotel lobby).

The Dazu Rock Carvings - This is the birthplace of the amazing Dazu rock carvings, created from the late Tang dynasty (618~907) to the early Song dynasty (960~1127).

With a Buddhist theme, the Dazu cliffside carvings are found in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan, and Shizhuanshan. You will spend the day visiting the Baodingshan carvings, located about 527 meters above sea level. It mainly consists of the Dafowan and Xiaofowan rock carvings areas.

Baoding Mountain Carved Stone - After a 2-hour drive, you will reach the well-preserved Baodingshan Carvings. Green buses will take you directly to Baodingshan. The mountain cliffs are densely scattered with Buddhist and Taoist statues, as well as celebrity figures from the late Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). There are about 10,000 Buddha statues carved on the 500-meter cliff in the U-shaped Dafowan. It is said to be a long narrative mural with plenty of commentary but no repeated content. You can explore at your own pace to closely examine the precious grotto art. After the tour, a sumptuous lunch will be served at a fancy restaurant, allowing you to taste authentic Chongqing cuisines.

Chongqing - After a short break, you will be transferred back to your Chongqing city hotel, which requires a 2-hour drive. End of our services.

Chongqing - Wulong, 3hrs driving, 186KM. O/N Wulong.

Chongqing - In the morning, your driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00am and transfer you to Chongqing Wulong Karst, a 3-hour drive covering 186km.

Wulong Furong Cave - Wulong is a beautiful county about 186 km from Chongqing’s main city. Enjoy the mountain and river scenery en route. After 3 hours of driving, you will arrive in Wulong and visit the Furong Karst cave first. Located along the bank of the Furong River, the cave was discovered in May 1993 and is very popular among visitors for its limestone formations. It is an underground artistic palace and a cavern scientific museum, and the only nominated site for World Natural Heritage in China so far. The main limestone formation is an impressive 2,700 meters long.

Wulong County - Next, take a private car to Xiannv town in the late afternoon for the night. In the evening, you can watch the famous Wulong Impression show (pay locally by cash), which tells the story of Chongqing people’s lives and the moving history of the Yangtze and Three Gorges Dam.

Wulong - Chongqing, 3hrs driving, 186KM. The tour ends.

Wulong Karst geological park - Wulong Karst National Geology Park, an important part of South China Karst, is located at the lower reaches of the Wujiang River in southeast Chongqing. It was named a world natural heritage site by UNESCO in 2007. Wulong Karst features spectacular karst landscapes, including Furong Cave, Three Natural Bridges, Houping Giant Doline (Houping Tiankeng), and other scenic spots. Today, your Wulong tour will begin at the huge Sink Hole, a massive sinkhole as large as a soccer field. You will walk down to the bottom and then exit from the beautiful valley. Your guide will then take you to the Great Crack of the Earth, which might have been caused by an earthquake or geological movement. It is about 1000 meters deep and 2 kilometers long, making it a great place for hiking!

Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges - After purchasing main entrance tickets and taking a shuttle bus to the park, you will visit the Natural Three Bridges first. This rare geological wonder is a typical Karst landform. The natural bridges lie from north to south, crossing over the Yangshuihe Gorge and connecting the mountains on both sides. It is also Asia’s largest natural bridge group, and some scenes from “Transformer IV” were filmed here.

Chongqing Longshuixia Gap - Next, you will visit Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, also known as Wulong Valley. Formed tens of millions of years ago, it is a typical Karst landscape. The valley is 5 kilometers long and 200-500 meters deep. With primitive forests, waterfalls, springs, and gorges, you can truly feel the Earth’s ancient power. After that, you will be transferred back to Chongqing. End of service!

Chongqing - Finally, your guide will escort you to your Chongqing hotel, airport, train station, or river pier. Note: We will return to Chongqing around 17:30pm.
