What an experience !!!!! - This has been a great experience, from the ordering and communication with Caitlin to the transport with Karen. We visited 2 vineyards in a fantastic weather. On both vineyards we tasted excellent wines. On the last vineyard we had a terrific lunch with one of the wines we had just tasted minutes ago. Both vineyards are placed in a wonderful landscape.

Waipara Region Wine Tour - We had a wonderful time with a small group of 10 !! The staff at the wineries was knowledgable of the products and served a nice variety of wines for tasting along with isharing nformation specific to the area about grapes and wine making. Lunch was delightful! The driver's discussion of the area and the scenery was awesome!

Two thumbs up! - Fun wine tasting tour to three wineries including a beautiful lunch. Our driver/tour director Alan was exceptional and made sure we got back to our cruise ship on time. Don’t hesitate to book with Cheeky they are the best!

Very Nice Day Trip - Very nice winery tour. Only negative comment I have is the van we rode in had abysmal leg room. It was barely tolerable for a 1 hour drive. Our guide Roger was fantastic!!! Great guy!

Good tour company, wines so-so - The driver for Cheeky Wine Tours was very informative, though this wasn’t helped by the poor sound system in the bus. Cheeky Wine service was very good and the pick-up was on time. After our tour, and dropping off cruise passengers, the driver then offered to extend our tour by showing us sights of Christchurch. I only gave 4 stars as two of the three wineries rushed us through with young wines without much explanation. We had an excellent lunch at the second one. The wine tasting was unlike our experience at Bushmere Estate, Gisborne where the wine choice was excellent and their assessment of their products honest and accurate.

Wine tour from Christchurch - Unfortunately, our driver was not very experienced which led to some fear in our vehicle. We wish we would’ve learned more about the history from the tour guide, who really didn’t do anything more than greet us. The overall experience, however, was delightful based on the wineries explanations and sharing of tastings.

Winery lovely, management poor job - The wine tour and lunch was 5*****, the management for our trip did a poor job. We had 16 people from our ship taking the tour. 8 people were told they needed to wait for the next van. We were told our pick up time was 8:30 and were picked up shortly after, then proceeded to drive around Christchurch making an additional 5 stops. The winery was about an hour drive but after all the stops we arrived in time at 11:00. We toured 3 wineries and had a lovely time with a great lunch. Now it is 3:00 and we have an hour back to our ship, not so…we have to drop someone off at the airport, then an additional 4 stops and we get back to the boat at 5:30. We did not plan on riding for 5 hours with someone who could not tell us about the sights or history of this community. I believe management should have had all the cruise passengers in one tour. Instead of a 9 hour day this should have been a 6 hour tour.

Very unfavorable - This tour was canceled. I was not notified. I showed up to pickup point and was told by others at that point that the tour was canceled . I waited for 30 minutes and no tour guide arrived. Viator is refusing to reimburse me. Very disappointing. Very poor operation.

Disappointing Day - Unfortunately the tour was canceled for those of us on the cruise ship. Tour manager met us and said they would not be back in time to drop us at the ship. We are hoping for a refund from Viator.
