Chairlift is a spirit lift! - Great price for amazing view and experience. Much better than being on a gondola. The worst part though is that it's quite difficult to get there if you're using public transport.

A great activity - for all ages - Fantastic staff at all parts of the site - even though they were quite young (and had probably been working all day by the time we got there late in the afternoon), they were ALL courteous, polite, and helpful. We were given tickets as a gift for the chair lift and it was great - highly recommended for non-bikers to enjoy the park and the view. Also makes a great gift, and a great place to take out-of-towners. (recommend that you dress warmly - it can be coolish - even with a slight breeze).

Beyound expectations - We decided to take our family who were visiting from the North Island for a sight seeing ride on the chair lift which was a great experience and highly recommended. What elevated this great experience to another level was the high level of service that was provided by the staff on the day. Our 87 year old friend Ted who was with us was not up to the walk from the check-in to the chair lift. After contacting the team Melanie turned up in the small truck (called piglet) and transported Ted to the lift, from then on they managed the lift to ensure Ted was able to get on and off. When we returned to base Melanie then took Ted in piglet to the restaurant and made sure there was seating for the team. Once we had finished a superb meal and refreshments Melanie then transported Ted to the carpark. This was above and beyond our expectations and turned a good day into a great one. Thanks Team, highly recommended.

Magnificent view of the south - A breathtaking view of Christchurch, countryside and to the ocean. You really get to embrace the beautiful view of NZ South Island and the rich green hills. Highly recommend for families and couples. Be sure to rug up when windy!

Sign missing for turn off! - Firstly came from Hoon Hay Road in and drive pass turn off later discovered sign for turn off only for traffic coming opposite way, so on way back saw it, ride itself was a decent one and only complaint would be the seat are extremely uncomfortable and second very cold day so wrapped on warm but clothes all dirty due to state of all seat not good, but glad we did it

Expensive but amazing views - Only got to do the chair lift as we didn’t realise you needed to book for the zip lines. Views were stunning (especially coming down) and my kids enjoyed walking the little loop at the top. Was expecting maybe a cafe or something at the top as it’s not cheap ($60 for a family of 4), but still worth doing especially if it’s a nice sunny day

Rainy day fun - My two children (14 and 9 yrs) and I did the chair lift ride while my husband and 17 yr old son did the zipline. We really enjoyed the chairlift even tho it was raining and foggy and we got soaked and muddy bums due to the mud on the chairlift bench from previous mountain biker. Next time we hope to come in summer when its a lovely warm sunny day so we can enjoy the views etc. My husband and son enjoyed the zipline, The instructors were fun and knowledgeable. We had a hot drink at the cafe while we waited for my husband and son to finish and the heaters on the deck were great to help us dry off and get warm after the chairlift. We will be back next time we are in christchurch.

Disappointed - No prior notification for a prepaid chairlift ride to advise that the park was closed on the day of our booking. Awaiting refund from Viator. Disappointed
