Comfortable fun and informative tour - A great tour of Christchurch in a comfortable van with a very guide, Pete. Experiencing punting on the river, the tram and the gondola. A very tasty and relaxing tapas lunch. Great way to hear the history of Christchurch thanks Pete we had a great time.

Christchurch - We would recommend booking this tour. We give a special thank you to the tour company for not canceling as we were the only two people signed up on the day of our tour. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Pete. He is very knowledgeable about Christchurch and New Zealand. He had a good itinerary for seeing the city. We rode the tram and gondola, which provided views of the city and surrounding area. We went punting on the Avon, which we didn't google, so it was a nice experience. Lunch was at a restaurant in the botanical garden (with a good selection of tapas and salad).

Best of Christchurch - Guide was awesome. Friendly, informative, local, interesting. Obviously very passionate about Christchurch. Tour was well planned, plenty of time, excellent overview of Christchurch.

Christchurch tour - This was a really nice tour with a lot of Christchurch covered. I forget the tour guide's name (sorry!), but she even took us to a couple extra sights not listed in the itinerary. She took us to a nice lunch place that had things offered for everyone's tastes. The van was quite small for our group, but she apologized for that upfront and stated that the company is looking for different vans. It was also a little difficult to find her at the start due to where she parked and she wasn't holding up a sign or looking for us, but overall it was great and I recommend this tour.

Delightful and informative - This was a beautiful tour of Christ Church, with a little of everything. A tram tour with a wonderful and knowledgeable trolley driver, a beautiful and relaxing punt ride on the Avon River, lunch, and a spectacular visit to the gondola high over the city. Diana, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a small van and a small group. So nice!

Perfect day - Pete, our tour guide for the day, was wonderful! We appreciated his knowledge of NZ and Christchurch, his willingness to answer all our questions, and just the way the day flowed to see all the sights. I would highly recommend him!!

A Great Way to See and Learn about Christchurch - We had one day in Christchurch and this was the best way to see/learn/do the city. Pete was an amazing guide/host. We started with a cup of coffee and then hopped in his van for a tour around. Hitting all the highlights and then some. Among the things included was Punting on the Avon (a must), the hop on/hop off trolley and the gondola. We hit the beach as well as saw the area that used to be a suburb but was completely razed after the big earthquake in 2011. Stopped at a very cool food hall for lunch and learned about the history of the building. We're so glad we found this tour! Whether you have one day or several in Christchurch take this tour!

Don’t miss this one! - I can’t say enough good things about this excursion! Pete was wonderful from start to finish, and hands down is the only Viator tour operator to be in touch with us with a welcome and loads of information about where to meet up, the weather and more. The trolley ride through Christchurch was fun and informative, punting on the Avon was so relaxing, lunch was fabulous and the gondola ride and views were incredible. Please do yourself a favour and take this excursion with Pete, one of the nicest people we’ve met in NZ.

Pete was fantastic! - Pete was extremely knowledge, informative, fun, friendly and catered to his clients. He was able to make a last minute accommodation and we also got to meet and spend sometime with his fiancé Diana, who was just as nice. I would highly recommend Pete and would not think twice to book him again.

Lovely trip round the city - Really interesting way to see the highlights of Christchurch on an old-fashioned tram. The guide was good and gave useful information. It's hop on, hop off so you can get to see a lot of different places on one ticket. With the building work being done in the cathedral square, it is a bit more difficult to find the tram stop. There are two interlined routes and the trams finish relatively early in the afternoon.
