Fab day out - Enjoyed the relaxed style of tour - great to be on an actual working farm where the local stories are real. Lunch was excellent and more than enough to eat and in a lovely picnic spot. Winery visit was also great - with excellent NZ wines. Overall a great day out and would highly recommend.

Escape from city - Our driver is Simon. We had a great time feeding horse and then went on to the farm to check out shep shreding. The view from the farm to the ocean side is memserizing. Picnic lunch box is not only taate great but look beautiful. The wine tasting ecperience is also 👌 good. If you don't know what to do, sign up this trip to spend a day. I would recommend my friend a d family if they are coming to Christchurch.

A 'MUST DO' day tour from Christchurch - A great day tour from Christchurch. Day started with a short stop at a farm where we picked up our picnic lunch. We got to meet Donnie the mini pony and feed him some carrots. Then we moved on towards the Gelnafric Farm Tour. First stopping at the top at Louises Lookout where we ate our picnic lunch while taking in the stunning views of the rolling hills to the Pacific Ocean. We then went down into the farm where we watched a live demonstration of a sheep being sheared. While in the woolshed we were surprised with a baby lamb and got to bottle feed him and took some photos. The vintage tractor and purpose built trailer was a lot of fun. Taking us through the paddocks to the edge where we could see the beach and where many fossils are found. Next stop to the tractor museum full of historic machinery and tractors of all ages. The Hoban family are so lovely and welcoming. We headed off to the George Road Winery to do a wine tasting. This was really special as I had never been here before. The staff are really knowledgeable on their wines and the wines were great. All in all, we had a fantastic day. We learnt a lot about the North Canterbury region from the commentary from our driver guide. I highly recommend this day tour from Christchurch.

Great views and delicious food - Was so interesting to learn about the different types of sheep and wool. The boxed picnic lunch tasted amazing. Wine tasting after lunch was a good choice as on a full stomach it made the tasting easier.
