Visit 3 of Christchurch’s top attractions with a sightseeing pass that can be used on different days, allowing you to set your own pace. Soar above the city on the Christchurch Gondola; float through town on an Avon River Punt cruise; and hop on and off the Christchurch Tram to see key downtown sights. Each ride includes informative commentary that details the landmarks and history of Christchurch, from early explorers through to modern day history.
- You will need to find transport to and from the Gondola at an extra cost
- Please note the attractions get very busy especially if a cruise ship is in port and there may be a wait time at the attractions entry due to increased demand
- Tram ticket is an all day pass which enables you to hop on and off as you please
- You can arrive anytime between the opening hours for the Tram and Gondola, but you will need to prebook a Punting timeslot prior to arrival by contacting the supplier directly
- Tickets can be collected from the Booking Office located in Cathedral Junction or from any attraction on arrival

Perfect - Perfect way to see the city if you are short on time and want to maximise what you see. The city is so peaceful just floating down the river.

city pass (3 attractions for one) was a good deal - tram ride was fun. The tour was live by a great guide. The ride was around a historical sites. Love the town and so perfect with the cherry blossom.

Great way to see Christchurch in a day. - We loved the combo package that included the HOHO bus, the boat ride and the gondola. We learned a lot about the town and history during the bus ride and boat tour. Many places to see and learn about. The gondola ride was the best providing a 360 view of the Christchurch area. All of this gave us a good perspective and appreciation of Christchurch.

Relaxing way to see things - We really enjoyed this package. The hop on hop off tram was great to get around. The punting on the river was so nice and the gondola ride is a must. Views are amazing. Definitely do this in Christchurch.

Peaceful scenic ride. - The punt experience was a delight. Crew esp. Theo gave the ride a sense of occasion, and the surrounding banks of the Avon were beautiful to see.

Seeing NZ - Hop on, hop off very easy to see the city, commentary very informative. Punting on the river very relaxing. Gondola views very impressive.

Great value for moy - Value for money, allows you to do three things and saves cost. Views from Gondola were the most amazing part and punting plus tram is a must do to complete your sight seeing in Christchurch however those are not out of the world.

Need to make sure that people can book for the punting and that there's enough space. - The gondola was very nice. It had amazing views. Unfortunately the punting was all booked up so we didn't get to use that.

Great way to learn about Christchurch on short time. - The Christchurch Sightseeing Pass was a great way to learn about Christchurch while on limited time. We arrived off a cruise ship and managed to get through the tram and punt but unfortunately as our ship was leaving at 3pm we did not have time to go on the gondola.
The tram was busy first thing in the morning, so we would recommend walking to any of the other stops (most passengers waited at stop 4 to board however the trams did fill up quickly). Once on board the seats were very comfortable and the conductor was so knowledgeable about the various sights of Christchurch. After riding the tram we knew exactly where we wanted to visit and see next.
The punt was also stunning. It is a short ride (about 30 mins) but it was so relaxing. Make sure you pre-book the punt before you go as it was sold out on the day we were there, and we are so glad we didn't miss out. The punt and tram are quite close together (about 5-10 min walk), so plan to do these around the same time. We will definitely be going back on this again.
The operators were also very helpful both before and during the trip. Very happy with this experience and wouldn't hesitate to do this in the future.

Package is probably not best choice - The tram was packed and not worth the time. Just go punting and save money, it was lovely and right next to the botanical gardens which are a must see. We did not know you had to take a bus or Uber to the gondola and we’re just too tired to deal with it. I would suggest doing all separately is a smarter way to go.
