• Canterbury Region - As the journey progresses towards the destination, the route will take travelers through North Canterbury, showcasing a plethora of farms, animals, and vineyards. • Waipara - This adventure wouldn’t be complete without a touch of… WINE. Travelers will pass through stunning, lush green countryside, vineyards, and farms! The Waipara region is one of New Zealand’s top wine areas and serves as the first stop. Here, there will be an opportunity to sample a variety of wines from a locally owned and operated vineyard before heading to the coastal town of Kaikoura. • Cheviot - As the day continues, the journey leads to Cheviot. Cheviot is a hidden gem and one of New Zealand’s largest coastal routes. There will be a stop here to refuel and stretch. After a brief break, the journey continues through the beautiful Hundalee hill. Travelers will know they are close when they spot surfers and local wildlife – perhaps even a few seals. As the scenic road is navigated, stunning panoramic views will greet everyone.
• Kaikoura - Approaching Kaikoura, the route winds down the coastal road. This stretch is arguably the most scenic coastal road in New Zealand. Keep an eye out for wildlife and surfers! Lunch will be enjoyed before dropping off for the Dolphin Encounter.
