- Canterbury Region - As we journey to our destination, we’ll traverse North Canterbury, passing numerous farms, animals, and vineyards. Have your camera ready! The scenery can shift from vibrant greens to snowy whites depending on the season - truly spectacular!
- Waipara - No trip is complete without a bit of… WINE. We’ll travel through lush green countryside, vineyards, and farms! The Waipara region, one of New Zealand’s top wine areas, is our first stop. Here, you’ll have the chance to sample wines from a locally owned vineyard before we head to the coastal town of Kaikoura. If wine isn’t your preference, you can opt for beer instead!
- Cheviot - Our journey continues to Cheviot, a hidden gem and one of New Zealand’s largest coastal routes. We’ll stop here to refuel and stretch our legs. After a short break, we’ll proceed through the picturesque Hundalee hill. Keep an eye out for surfers and local wildlife, including seals, as we get closer. This scenic road offers breathtaking panoramic views.
- Kaikoura - As we near Kaikoura, we’ll navigate down the coastal road, arguably the most scenic coastal route in New Zealand. Watch for wildlife and surfers!
