- Waipara - Waipara Wine area, we visit 3 wineries whichever are open and available from Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Pegasus Bay, Waipara Hills & Georges Road.
- Waipara Springs Winery - Travelling north from your pick up location from Christchurch, arrive at your first stop at the beautiful Waipara Springs: one of the oldest and most popular wineries of the region. Enjoy wine tastings and a delicious pattered lunch (if option is selected - you will be here longer).
- Torlesse Wines - Your next stop is Torlesse Wines: a winery named after early Cantabrian resident Charles Torlesse. Here you will be able to sample wines including their Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and more.
- Pegasus Bay Winery and Deli - Your final stop will be the stunning winery of Pegasus Bay: a family owned winery who have been producing wine since the seventies. Taste some fantastic wines including sauvignon semillon, reisling, and more.

Enjoy an afternoon Wine Trail tour exploring three of North Canterbury’s boutique vineyards including Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Pegasus Bay, Waipara Hills or Georges Road, all producing a fine selection of both white and red wines for tastings. Also included are at least 15 wine tastings at the vineyards of wines from of numerous grape varieties.
Should the afternoon tour option with lunch be selected the Plattered lunch has been arranged at the first winery you visit on the day of travel.
- Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- Minimum age is 18 years of age to consume alcohol in New Zealand
- Should any of the named wineries be unavailable on the day of travel, an alternative winery in the Waipara area will be included

Fun day at wineries - Scott was a super guide and the hosts at the wineries were good at explaining the wines we tasted. The first winery even offered a gin tasting.

Fabulous wine tour! - Fabulous wine tour! The driver/guide provided information on the drive to the first winery, Waipara Springs, where we tasted several wines, then had a great lunch. The wine pourer explained the wine processes and answered questions. We also visited George's Road and Torlesse. I was able to discuss the wines we tasted with the owner at George's Road who then offered to let us taste his syrah. Two of us found this one to be the best and we each bought a bottle. Torlesse produces wine in a more French style. All in all, a great day out meeting other wine lovers, and tasting a variety of wines and styles. I would definitely recommend!

Fun & intimate - Intimate group of people, great hosts out at the vineyards and driver Pete was great to chat with and educated us along the way! We tasted around 15 wines all very unique and lunch was more than I expected. Definitely recommend :)

Waipara wine trail - Fantastic afternoon on the Waipara Wine Trail. Joseph was an excellent guide, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and with a great sense of humour. The winery’s were fantastic, especially Georges Road.

Driver and guide Mr Joseph done a great job very thing is nicely done - The bus was full at that day but a group traveling with us making the journey more lively and fun , everyone in the same bus enjoy it .

Waipara Wine Tour - We really enjoyed this wine tour. Compared to similar tours in the US’s Napa Valley, it was a great value. Our guide Gabby was fantastic.

Professional and great value for money - A great way to enjoy lunch and a lazy afternoon. We were picked up from our hotel ahead of time, which was the first indication that this is a very professional tour. The bus was very comfortable and the driver was friendly and informative. The afternoon kicked off with a lovely, filling lunch at Waipara Springs. We had plenty of time to wander around each of the three vineyards we visited and soak up the sunny autumn weather. Also a great opportunity to meet fellow visitors from across the world.

Late cancellation by operator. - Tour company cancelled less than 24 hours before tour. Cancellation was due to lack of numbers which they would have known considerably earlier in the week. The late cancellation did not leave us enough time to make arrangements with another provider. Extremely disappointing and would not recommend booking with the company.
