Gyeongbokgung Palace - We’ll first visit a Hanbok rental shop to try on traditional Korean dress (optional). You can wander around Gyeongbokgung Palace in a Hanbok, creating special memories and dreamy photos.
Located at the top of Gwanghwamun Square, Gyeongbokgung Palace shines brightly in the heart of the nation. Built in 1395 by the Joseon Dynasty, it was the first and largest palace, originally consisting of 330 buildings and housing up to 3,000 staff.
Before exploring the palace, we’ll watch the royal guard changing ceremony. This reenactment offers a rare glimpse into a tradition performed exactly as it was in the past. Guards don royal uniforms, carry traditional weapons, and play traditional instruments.
Gwanghwamun Square - Gwanghwamun Square is akin to the central spine of Korea. It’s a vast open plaza surrounded by major administrative buildings. Statues of historically significant figures stand here, and it’s a hub for political demonstrations.
Cheonggyecheon Stream - Cheonggyecheon Stream is an 8.4-kilometer (5.2-mile) waterway and public space running through downtown Seoul. Initially covered with cement and used as roads due to sanitation issues during floods, it was transformed into a modern park in 2005. The stream is home to wildlife like herons, fish, and turtles. This beloved park is a place for people to dip their feet in the water during breaks and hosts lantern festivals.
N Seoul Tower - Enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of Seoul! The tower’s top is nearly 480m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain (243m) and the tower’s height (236.7m).
Originally established as a broadcast tower in 1969, it has become a landmark and multi-cultural venue in Seoul. Highlights include the famous Locks of Love and ancient beacon mounds. Entry to the observatory is not included.
