- Adachi Lifelong Learning Center - This event provides foreign tourists with a unique opportunity to explore the essence of martial arts through an interactive judo experience. Attendees will don judo uniforms, delve into the history of judo, and practice judo etiquette and techniques.
Program Details:
Introduction to Judo:
Explanation of judo as a martial art, covering its history and philosophy.
Uniform and Etiquette:
Each attendee will be provided with a judo uniform (judogi).
Instructions on how to correctly wear the judogi, including putting on the pants, tying the strings, wearing the jacket, and tying the belt.
Guidance on the proper way to enter the dojo (training hall).
Learning and Practicing Techniques:
Introduction to judo etiquette, including bowing and other formalities.
Practice of basic techniques such as:
Ushiro Ukemi (Back Breakfall)
Yoko Ukemi (Side Breakfall)
Kesa-gatame (Scarf Hold)
O-goshi (Major Hip Throw)
This immersive program is crafted to offer a thorough understanding of judo, from its historical origins to practical techniques, enabling participants to experience the discipline and respect integral to martial arts.

- Each participant will receive a Judo uniform.
