Ideal side street shopping experience! - I absolutely recommend this shopping tour. A customized local tour near Tokyo City Air Terminal, which was perfect, as I was staying at the Royal Park Hotel. The shops were off the beaten path and I definitely would not find these on my own. Unique and wonderful gifts, toiletries, paper, cards, senbei rice crackers, food, shops etc. Tokyo can be overwhelming, but this was a cute local neighborhood experience and not the hustle and bustle of the busier areas.
We also took the Tokyo subway to get to another location, and it was the perfect opportunity for me to learn how to buy tickets and learn how to navigate and read the map. This was incredibly useful for me to be able to navigate the city for the rest of my time in Tokyo. This was the cherry on top of the cake! 10/10

Great tour for souvenirs and foodies! - Kaori was a brilliant guide! She went above and beyond in every respect from catering to allergies within our group, to running an impromptu origami making workshop. We tasted numerous treats from family owned businesses and explored some traditional craft stores. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Real Tokyo - A 3-hour tour of the most authentic Tokyo outside the bustling areas of Shinjuku or Shibuya. Our guide took us to traditional goods stores and eat delicious sweets. Of particular note are the Japanese croquettes. Highly recommended if you want to visit not so touristic and more authentic areas. Our guide was fantastic and told us all the places we visited.

Afternoon tour - We had a great tour with Kaori! She had lots of knowledge and answered all our questions. Tour was lengthy, making stops at 4 food vendors and 4 different master craftsman shops. Thank you!

Field trip with Kiyo-san - The tour with Kiyo-san was great. At the beginning we had some difficulty with our reservation, but his tour company was able to work it out.
Kiyo-san described the history of the different places and landmarks we explored throughout the tour. We tried ningyoyaki cakes, rice crackers and drank sake. We visited multiple generation shops with hundreds of years of history. We thoroughly enjoyed learning from Kito-san. If you want a laid back but informative tour, this is the one for you.

A Great Way to Experience Japan’s Culture & History - My friends and I toured Tokyo with Kiyo, and we had an amazing time that I’ll never forget. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience Japan’s culture and history through food, architecture and shopping. I found some amazing gifts to bring back for my family.
