During the Tsukiji Fish Market tour, the guide will lead you to the market’s highlights, sharing insights into Japanese history and culture. You’ll discover a variety of Japanese foods, ingredients, and utensils that may be unfamiliar to you.
In the sushi-making experience, you’ll enter a Japanese-style classroom located in a hidden local building at the heart of the market. A professional sushi chef will guide you through the process, teaching you step-by-step. You’ll learn to make four types of nigiri sushi and one rolled variety.
After the sushi-making session, you’ll savor your creations along with a sushi piece from the master, featuring the freshest wasabi. Traditional dashi soup and premium green tea are also served, perfectly complementing the sushi.

Before the sushi-making session, participants will have the opportunity to explore the world’s largest and most renowned fish market. The guide will provide insights into the market, Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and utensils.
During the sushi-making class, attendees will learn how to prepare Nigiri sushi and rolled sushi under the guidance of a professional sushi master. Although making sushi can seem challenging, there’s no need to worry! This class will cover the basics of sushi-making, enabling participants to create delicious sushi on their own.
Please note that sushi toppings cannot be altered on the day of the event.

- On the day of your tour, our guide will be waiting at the meeting place with a board saying “Japan Wonder Travel”.
- Please come with comfortable walking shoes as this tour is mainly a walking tour.
- There could be a delay at when tour ends, if you have an appointment or plan right after this tour please let us know in advance
- In case of late arrival, the tour cannot be extended.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations or late arrivals on the day of the tour.
- Tsukiji inner market(business area) have moved to Toyosu after 6th Oct 2018. In this tour, we will visit Tsukiji outer market and mini wholesale area to introduce Japanese food and culture.
- Infants and toddlers are free of charge, but if they want to try their hand at making sushi, they must use their parent/guardians sushi kit. They will not receive their own sushi kit to make.
- Unfortunately, we do not accommodate vegetarian, halal, gluten-free requests, or allergy-related requests.
- *End point is Tsukiji or Shinjuku. End point is depending on the date. We cannot inform you in advance.
- Services not listed (For example : Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transportation to/from attractions, Extra food and drinks, Other personal expenses) are not included in the tour.
- This activity is perfect for who has no problems with stairs. Our classroom is on the third floor in the Japanese traditional building with only stairs.
- Please let us know if you are allergic to any ingredients and you have any food restrictions when you make a reservation.
- Unfortunately, we do not accommodate kosher requests.
- We will try to accommodate allergy-related requests, though it may not be possible.
- Sushi making experience may be held at Asakusa or Yotsuya depending on the availability of the venue. In that case, the tour will end at Asakusa or Yotsuya. The venue cannot be announced until the day of the tour. Thank you for your understanding.
