A delicious foodie walk with a super guide - We were guided round the fish market and Buddhist Temple by Mitch. He was a great guide. Full of information about the food we tried, the market and Japanese culture. Despite the awful weather we really enjoyed our morning which ended with an excellent sushi lunch - save enough room!!! Mitch told us how the sushi was made and the Japanese way to eat it. We’ve been doing it wrong for years😂

Delicious intro to Japan - Our first day in Tokyo - this was a great introduction. Very nicely selected stop off points to eat - great food and Sean was a delightful guide - clearly had a passion for sharing and wanting us to enjoy our whole time in Japan - with helpful tips on our journeys next steps too. He was really thoughtful in answering all the questions we had. Thank you.

Fabulous Experience - Absolutely outstanding food tour with culture discussed and shared. Mitch was brilliant and took the time to explain all the food, the processes and also made us a beautiful gift of a handwritten card. It is a great tour and we would totally recommend.

We ended up on a private... - We ended up on a private tour (just the 2 we booked for) with our guide Cameo. Cameo was a great guide. My only issue with this tour was that it felt like we were being led from stall to stall to be pushed to purchase things (tea, specialty beans, wasabi sesame seeds, etc.). When I do a food tour, I prefer to have the time focused on sampling foods. The market area is small enough that I think you could go on your own and have a good time. Most of the vendors have food out for purchase so it would be easy enough to organize your own sampling of foods. The coolest thing was at the end we all met up in a restaurant and the chef demonstrated how he scales and cuts a fish for sushi. Wish it would have been something we could all learn to do! Overall enjoyed this tour, and did purchase some goods to take home, but in future would do on my own. Also, no drinks were included.
