Fun and yummy experience! - This was a great tour! We were led by the very kind Akiko through the fish market. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable and efficiently led us through whilst explaining the different offerings and stopping often to let us taste items. The sushi class at ABC Kitchen was also led by a lovely woman. My 11 year old son and I really enjoyed the process and eating our handmade lunch afterwards! We highly recommend this experience!

Highly Recommend - The guide was awesome giving us so many information at the market and taking us to stores that we wanted to go. The lesson was also so informative and fun! Such a enjoyable time making your own sushi and eating it with my family!

Awesome and fun experience! - A different and wonderful experience! We had a great time with both Akiko at Tsukiji market and sushi making with Megumi. We especially enjoyed learning how to make miso soup from scratch, tamago, and a variety of simple sushi. Highly recommend!

Not a great experience - We had a group of six. The tour guide was very polite and so was the cooking instructor. Overall I do not feel like I got enough value out of the tour for the price. My wife and I walked around the market before the tour which felt just as enjoyable as the tour itself. With six people it was hard to gather around the tour guide in the crowded market at times to hear what she was saying. Her insights/history were interesting but I don't feel like I needed a guide for the market personally as I find just looking at the different foods interesting. I would have liked to only have a cooking class. The cooking class was a bit disappointing as well. When making the tomago (egg) we split into 2 groups of 3 people and shared the cooking process. I expected for us to cook everything individually, not to have to share. When it came to the sushi we each made our own. There was not enough space on the cooking counter for myself however as the six of us were in a line along the counter. I didn't have full space like everyone else as there was a burner and hot plate in front of me. It was very cramped. I'm very surprised at my experience because it did not align with the high rated reviews. I am not a picky person and typically enjoy most things I do but I am surprised at what my experience was for over $150 per person. The best part of the experience was connecting with the other people in our tour group. We hung around after and had great conversations.
