Highlights
  • FinCafé Coffee Shop - At this stop, participants can sample and purchase 100% single origin Puerto Rican Coffee, straight from the farm to their cup. Here, guests will also meet Stephanie, who will conduct a workshop on the monarch butterfly.
  • Orocovis - We will pitch camping tents and set up mattresses on a private farm nestled in the mountains of Orocovis. Guests will be welcomed by Joel, the owner, who will lead a brief walk to explore the property’s waterfalls and natural swimming pools. This stop also includes a farm-to-table dinner and breakfast the following morning.
  • Toro Negro State Forest - While driving along road #149, participants will be treated to the stunning views of this tropical forest. We’ll have opportunities to stop at scenic points and waterfalls for swimming.
  • Jayuya - We’ll visit this small mountain town to learn about its historical significance and enjoy a panoramic view of the Tres Picachos.

Our first activity is an immersive workshop dedicated to the extraordinary Monarch butterfly, a symbol of beauty, resilience, and wonder in the natural world as we explore the fascinating life cycle, migrations, and significance of this butterfly species common to Ciales. Arriving at our secluded campsite in the mountains of Orocovis, you’ll be awed by panoramic views as you settle into your tent, where the only sound that permeates is the lullaby of the coqui and the mysterious múcaro. Gather around a crackling campfire under a star-studded sky, where stories are shared, and friendships are forged over mugs of local hot chocolate and s’mores. As night falls, the Milky Way unveils, painting shimmering constellations.The next morning, start your day with a farm to table break embark on a journey to explore the island’s enchanting waterfalls.
