Highlights

Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - We talk about the history of this building including the Carnegie Steel beams that were used in the construction.
1818 Race St - Next we will walk to access the former Linch Brewery Tunnels that were built in 1850. These are not open to the public and only accessible on our tour.
Findlay Market - We will briefly walk through Findlay Market during the tour. We will talk about the history of this oldest market in the state of Ohio. Its founder James Findlay and the unique construction of the market itself.
Rhinegeist Brewery - Next we walk to the Rhinegeist Brewery, we do not go into this brewery but we talk about the history of the building and the role it played in the beer industry in the 1800’s in Cincinnati.
204 W McMicken Ave - Then we walk to the closed Jackson brewery to access the tunnels under the building. We talk about the amazing architecture and history of this building.
Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - Then we return to Northern Row Brewery for a beer tasting for our guests that are 21 and over. Under 21 guests can have a soft drink of their choice.

Join us at American Legacy Tours for our latest tour, Hidden Caverns. This extraordinary journey will take you beneath the surface to the Linck brewery tunnels. We will then head to the location where Johnny Cash once filmed a movie. After this, we will make our way to the site of a significant Cincinnati incline. We will get an exclusive look inside the last remaining structures from the original Christian Moerlein Brewery complex, which has been off-limits to the public for many years. As an exclusive feature of the Hidden Caverns Tour, guests aged 21 and over will have the opportunity for a beer tasting at Northern Row Taproom 111 W McMicken Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Regardless of the weather, our tours will proceed as planned!

Beer tasting is available for guests 21 and over. Under 21 guests can have a soft drink of their choice.

Don't Hesitate, best way to see Cincy!! - I 110% recommend this tour. Also do not be scared to add another underground tour, there might be some overlap but they compliment perfectly. This is my second year in a row to go on this tour and I'll go again next year. It is a fascinating tour and the guide, Miranda, is the best story teller weaving history, jokes, and lively stories into an amazing experience. I also had questions about the city in general and she answered them with grace and ease talking to me as if I was an old friend.

Fun and informative activity - We were in town for the tennis tournament and decided to do the caverns tour. So glad we did, as our guide, Miranda, was so much fun and so informative! We learned a ton about Cincinnati’s brewing history and the Over The Rhine neighborhood. We enjoyed our Northern Row beer afterwards. Highly recommend!

Great afternoon with Miranda! - What a fun and educational experience all wrapped into one fun afternoon!! Our guide, Miranda, was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge of all things Cincinnati and breweries was impressive! She was very engaging, funny and attentive to each guest on our tour! Exploring the caverns was so fun and of course, the full beer at the end of the tour (included with your ticket) was exceptional. Northern Row and the whole Over-The-Rhine are a great stop for any beer lover.

Fun! - What a fun 2 hour tour to learn and see a little more about Cincinnati and all the breweries here. Miranda was an awesome guide- fun, funny, and told us all a lot about Cincy! Worth the time and money. Thanks Miranda!

Fun with the Australian - Miranda was amazing, the tour was alot of fun, full of lots of knowledge. We really enjoyed it, the tunnels were something that I had absolutely no idea was there.
