- Over-The-Rhine - We will stroll through, as well as outside Findlay market sampling food at restaurants and various market vendors. The market is situated in the middle of Over the Rhine, an historic German neighborhood, north of downtown Cincinnati. We will meet a couple of the owners and you will learn about the market’s history as well as the German immigrants that settled Cincinnati. Your guide will point out the favorite stops in the market, so you wish can return and shop on your own. You will learn how to use the free streetcar that loops from the market to downtown Cincinnati also. We promise you won’t leave hungry!

If this is your first time to Cincinnati, a visit historic to Findlay Market is a must see. Located in historic Over the Rhine, the Market welcomes over a million visitors a year! For first-time visitors, the market can be overwhelming. But we make it fun with an in-person guide at your side. We can skip the lines and maneuver to our favorite spots. Your guide will entertain you with stories from the past and old photos that bring history to life.
Our stops vary from week to week, but some of the samples may include a German goetta sandwich, Belgium waffles, croissants, pierogies, fudge, cheese, soup and gelato. Rated by Newsweek magazine as one of the Top 10 markets in the World, Findlay Market is perfect for local foodies and first-time visitors. (Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate nut, food allergies, low carb, diabetes, gluten free, vegan or lactose free restrictions).
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing (an umbrella if needed). Bring a water bottle for hydration in warm weather. We walk less than .5 mile, but we will be standing at various food stalls. There are benches, tables and chairs surrounding the market.
- This is a wheelchair accesible tour, but please be aware the market may be crowded, which can make meaneuvering a wheelchair difficult.
- All guests must check-in 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

We meet at French Crust Cafe at 9:45am. The door to the Cafe is behind the main entrance, located on the side of the building on Elder Street. The side entrance opens earlier at 9am.

Variety of specialty foods to try - This was a very interesting food tour. We tasted a variety of foods from different vendors. Included were foods that included goetta (a local specialty), a tropical smoothie, and a choice of several flavors of truffles. There were several others as well. Great tour guide with lots of background information on the foods and vendors.

Wonderful tour and guide! - Our tour guide, Jackie, was amazing! She wove the history of Cincinnati, Findlay Market, and the shops we visited seamlessly into a great story! We were able to visit a variety of shops to sample all the different cuisines available at the market and learn a lot as well! It was a great time and we left completely full!

Best thing we did in Cincy! - Jackie was outstanding—informative, pleasant and welcoming. The food was a nice assortment of savories and sweets around historic Findlay Market. Great way to spend a few hours.

Sunday Brunch Tour of Findlay Market - Wonderful historic Cincinnati brunch tour! If you’re in the area, you must choose Riverside tours. Findlay Market brunch tour was fantastic with a sampling of several different places in the Market!!
Jackie was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour even more memorable and interesting with the history of Cincinnati and the relationship with food and beverages along the way!!

Fantastic brunch tour - What a fabulous brunch tour! It was a great way to taste a variety of unique food items offered at the Findlay Market. Our tour guide, Laura, did a great job pointing out other points of interest in the market and sharing history of the market and the different vendors we visited. We were very intrigued by the German influences in Cincinnati as well as the beautiful architecture. Highly recommend Laura and the tour. You won’t leave hungry!

History and food: What’s not to love? - Laura was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. She made sure we had enough time; we certainly had enough food! She is obviously in love with Cincinnati and shares that love generously. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tasty bit of history many delicious bites.

Amazing Experience and Value - The Findlay Market Sunday Brunch is an impressive tour featuring the most stops I have ever experienced in a food tour. (This is my 15th food tour; first in Cincinnati.) In addition, we sampled a wide variety of foods from the amazing variety of local and ethnic restaurants in the Findlay Market area. Our tour guide Laura has a fantastic way of combining the history of the area with the evolution of the food scene; we were fortunate to meet several restaurant managers and owners. The amount of walking for this tour is negligible and manageable. Food portions will keep you satisfied for hours. Pre, during, and post communication for this event was A+. The Cincinnati food atmosphere is world class; start your visit with this tour!
