Erice, Trapani, Marsala
Marsala - After breakfast, travel by luxury coach along the stunning northern coastline of the Tyrrhenian Sea to Trapani. En route, stop in the mountaintop town of Erice, offering breathtaking views. In the afternoon, arrive in Trapani, known for its salt flats and the beautiful Cathedral of San Lorenzo. Later, reach Marsala and visit the Donna Franca, a perfectly preserved and restored 19th-century baglio. Tonight, take a tour of the winery and savor the region’s renowned wines during dinner at the hotel’s esteemed restaurant.

Agrigento - This morning, journey from Marsala to Agrigento, located on Sicily’s southern coast along the Mediterranean Sea. A local expert will highlight the significant ancient treasures during a tour of the Valley of the Temples, dating back to the fifth century BC. This archaeological site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. Back at the hotel, enjoy a delightful dinner with wine.
Caltagirone, Taormina
Taormina - Today, travel to the eastern shore of Sicily and the charming seaside town of Taormina. Along the way, stop in Caltagirone, famous for its Baroque-style ceramics. Optional Experience: Your tour leader offers an optional trip to Siracusa. This all-day experience will introduce you to the most multicultural city in Sicily.
Straits of Messina, Calabria, Sorrento
Sorrento - After breakfast, depart Sicily and head to Sorrento. Take a ferry boat cruise across the Straits of Messina to mainland Italy. Stop in the region of Calabria, in Southern Italy, for a relaxing lunch break. Later in the afternoon, arrive at the hotel in Sorrento, overlooking the Gulf of Naples, for a delightful dinner with music, dancing, and wine.
Isle of Capri, Sorrento
Capri - Today, transfer by boat to the famous and beautiful island of Capri. A Wherever Tours representative at the hotel is available to offer suggestions before your transfer to help you make the most of your day. Return Departure
Naples - Sadly, it’s time to say “arrivederci” to Sicily and Sorrento. After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the Napoli airport for your onward journey. You might even consider staying a couple more nights in Sorrento before heading back home. Just let us know.
