Great experience - I loved the trip. Driver André Rodrigues very friendly and super available. The times between each lap could be improved.

a must-do for anyone visiting the Algarve region - I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the CitySight tour in Albufeira, and it was an incredible journey through this picturesque coastal town. The tour was a perfect blend of historical insights, stunning views, and local charm, making it a must-do for anyone visiting the Algarve region.

Good for discovering Albufeira and Vilamoura - To do upon arrival, and do the 2 circuits blue and red, red for the city of Albufeira and blue for the surrounding area and Vilamoura Leave early in the morning. It starts at 9:30 a.m. for red and 10 a.m. for blue. you can choose a 1 or 4 day pass: 50 euro for 2 for 1 day, pass taken at the hotel

Very average with room for improvement - Tried to be optimistic given the previous reviews. We had 4 adults and a 2.5yo and thought this would be a good tour that allowed us to see viewpoints without having to go to them individually. I agree with the timetable points, the timetable on the brochure doesn’t indicate the timetable for each stop. We didn’t know the full loop took 2 hours. I scored it a 3/5 because it did give us a view of the city, however like previous comments it’s largely golf resorts, roads, a few peaks at beaches (not very visible from bus) they provide you with headphones, it’s buggy friendly, plenty of seating up & downstairs. Driver was friendly and they accept card. The ticket was for 2 days and there are 2 routes available red (is albufeira/old town etc - but not traditional sights) then the blue route is the other marina which in itself has pretty poor reviews and the buses only run every 2 hours on that route. Another gripe and the reason we didn’t opt to do the blue route the next day was regardless which stop you get off, you have to do a full loop to get back to your pick up point. We were stop 6, got off at 13 then it took 1.5h to get back to stop 6. If they had the buses travelling in both directions I think this would improve the service! Would be great to skip all the golf resorts and really get to visit the other stops. I personally wouldn’t recommend it as it did just feel like overpriced public transport, but at the same time I’m not saying it’s a terrible service. It’s quite pricey at €25 pp (children under a certain age are free). The commentary is not really informative, it’s very much music for 95% of the journey.

***A budget nonetheless*** - Purchase of 2 tickets for the blue circuit (albufeira) and the red circuit (surroundings) 50 euros (a budget nonetheless) We started by doing the blue circuit (driver not very welcoming) and the next day the red circuit (longer) You can get off wherever you want but pay attention to the times Between the wind, people talking, traffic and noise, it's difficult to hear explanations with headphones. ***Shame*** Good walk !!!!

Hop On Hop Off - We took the Hop On Hop Off bus to see parts of Albufeira that we had not seen before. There was an audio in English and it was quite interesting though maybe went on a little too long. The tickets are valid for two days so we COULD have used it the following day as public transport.

Expensive - Expensive compared to the fact that the 2 lines that are there almost run the same route, there are about 6 stops that are not the same out of the nose 30 stops. Save the money and take a guided taxi or tuk tuk tour instead.

Waste of time - The worst sight seeing tour ever. A waste of your time and money. All you see is roundabouts and Hotels. They will tell you such a sight is so many metres from the next stop.but you won't actually see anything. We were on the bus nearly 3 hours .Bus stopped in one location for 20 minutes and everyone just sitting there. They told us we could use the ticket the following day as well.nobody in their right mind would do that trip again.

Don't waste your money. - Booked the 4 day bus tickets as have used them in other countries and always been brilliant. This one was the exception to the rule. 1 hour (red) or 2 hour (blue) "sightseeing" loop with nothing to see. It does not go to any of the main Algarve attractions. The bus is always late and the commentary either doesn't work or doesn't match up with where you are. That's when there is commentary at all as the majority of it is just music. Cheaper to get the Giro bus or land train to get about. The bus was so late that a few times we ended up just forking out for an Uber because we were bored of waiting. Total rip off and wish we hadn't bothered booking.
