Breathtaking views of Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake - 0n 21 July 2024 we booked the Citysightseeing tour from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The tour included Niagara Falls, Niagara On the Lake, and wine tasting at the Niagara College. It was an excellent day out, filled with lots of laughter. We were chaperoned by tour guide and bus drive Michael. He was very knowledgeable and the information he provided very interesting facts about Toronto, Niagara Falls and Canada in general. He had a terrific sense of humour and made our approximately 3 hour journey an enjoyable one. We were kept fully informed once tickets for this tour was booked, we were given time and location for pick up. Citysightseeing tour arranged to pick up outside our hotel at the beginning of the day and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day which was about 8pm. Th tour/driver gave all customers clear instructions throughout the day, which meant that everything from start to finish ran very smoothly. We would highly recommend for a first visit to Niagara Falls Tour.

Check the bus - We had the 2 day pass. The first day we did the whole route and had an excellent guide. We had the earphones and could understand everything. Then we had a stop and had a bus with no earphones and could barely hear the guide. Next day, no earphones, same problem. If you take the tour be sure to get the bus with earphones and you will be satisfied.

Nice Tour - Great tour and our guide Sal was very entertaining and informative. The audio on the bus is hit or miss and they don’t necessarily make all the stops. Signs for the stops in some locations are lousy (i.e., hidden behind other signs or vegetation).

Skyscrapers Delight - I've always enjoyed the hop-on-hop-off bus experience as it's a great way to see many main attractions in a limited time. The bus and the lovely young lady providing commentary were excellent and full of knowledge. However, I personally didn't find Toronto as interesting as cities like Edinburgh, London, and Florence. In Toronto, you spend most of your time looking upwards.

Good experience, but long wait times - Good way to see a new city. The time between pick up was supposed to be about 20 minutes according to staff. The reality was more like 30-40 minutes. Also, the quality of audio was terrible. It is better to sit close to the tour guide, which were filled with funny and helpful tips and facts,

If you have mobility issues or want to get bearings this is worthwhile - Nice way to see main sights of you have mobility issues, otherwise walk, it’s amazing city and you can see most of it by foot if physically able

Poor Experience. - Poor experience. I had read the reviews beforehand, with the understanding not to expect much. However, I was still surprised to see how poorly organised it was. We could nearly hear the guide speaking over a poor quality microphone. Additionally, having had the bus break down we were not informed what to do next and had to guess (along with other customers). When we finally understood that we had the option to transfer to a bus behind or waiting, we decided to transfer. However, during this process the bus driver began to drive off, causing us and other customers to fall over. This happened at least twice and was pretty shocking. I could go on but to summarise, overall this lived up to the other bad reviews.

Very poor - We were very disappointed with the route which we think omitted major historical sites such a Fort York. We were also extremely disappointed with the guides who were reading from huge wodges of notes of information they had researched from the internet. There was no background and were no local insights.

Big disappointment - This tour left a lot to be desired. Avoid it. Kudos to the drivers, driving those buses is a true skill. The tour guides were awful. We had 3 different ones, one barely spoke English, one used index cards and couldn’t answer one question from the group, and the last equipment was broken! We’ve taken many hop on tours and this was the worst.

Disorganized Money Grab! 最悪な会社、要注意 - ⚠️ If I could give them a 0 I would. ⚠️ （日本語でのレビューは英文の後にあります。） Booked tickets online on their website and arrived on time to find out that they over sold the tour. They wouldn’t allow us to board as the bus was full. There was another family who we spoke to who also didn’t get on the bus although they had purchased tickets online as well. The staff on sight was apologetic about the situation so no disrespect to them. But the company is a money grab. They sell tickets online to customers who are assuming they are assured a seat while selling to walk ins on the side. Apparently you are to arrive 30 minute before but it is stated nowhere NOWHERE on the confirmation email nor ticket. We arrived right on time but was denied. I understand if we were late but we weren’t. They then went on to tell us that it’s a first come first served system. Well my question is then why would you sell tickets online? What’s the point of booking ahead if you aren’t guaranteed a seat since they also sell tickets to walk-in clients without confirming capacity of walk-in vs online bookings. And if this is the shady kind of business you want to do then you need to state the terms on your email and tickets . We spent money to Uber to and from the departure point all for nothing. We did not have time to do this tour on our past visit so we had promised the kids this time. Since there is only one departure time for this tour, we made sure to book it in advance so we would not miss out but now we cannot experience this tour as we leave tomorrow. Having worked in the travel industry I’ve seen my share of excursions but none so disorganized as this one. It’s quite appalling and embarrassing as a fellow Canadian to know that such a tourist grab exists in my country.
