Amazing! - We had a great time! The food was really good and the guide very helpful and knowledgeable. We were traveling with children and they also loved it. Thank you Roberta.

Such a great experience! - As many other reviewers have mentioned, we chose to stay in the Civitavecchia port rather than travel to Rome for a day trip. We are so glad we spent time in this very important and historical port city. Our guide was superb, she spoke English fluently and provided us with a great experience - tasting our way through a fabulous history lesson. Highly recommend. PS I never knew capers grew on a vine.

Great guide, good and plentiful food and history - Excellent all around! Roberta was a top-notch guide with excellent English and was a clear and strong communicator. We understood everything she said. She treated us all like long time friends. She really made the tour!! We ate so much food we honestly could not finish it all! (We stopped in a coffee shop, ate street food, and then finished at a restaurant with outdoor seating). Our tour was at 10 am — don’t eat breakfast first! Roberta has a genuine passion for her community and provided good history of Civitivecchia as we walked. We both highly recommend this fun tour!

A fun morning with history, sites, and good food - Alessia was a wonderful guide for this tour. It was approximately 3 hours and included 3 tastings. The zucchini pizza was a surprise - so good. And the treasure chest at the final stop was a fun surprise.

Nice tour with historical side notes - We had a delightful time with a small group as it was off-season. The guide was enthusiastic and shared much about her city. The food itself was nice, but the tour guide and the other fun couple made it a special experience

This is a walking tour on... - This is a walking tour on cobblestone and some stairs. This would not be appropriate for those who have difficulty walking. Roberta loves this town and its history and shares many stories. The three planned stops were spaced well so we had a chance to sit before continuing. It is a charming little town. Everyone I was traveling with had already been to Rome and looking for an alternative. Staying in port and exploring Civitavecchia was a pleasant alternative.

This food tour had too... - This food tour had too much standing and listening to very long lectures in between only 3 tastings. The cultural talks could have been shorter to just give highlights of the area. We stood way too long to the point of being uncomfortable and lost interest in the talk. Not a good balance of culture and food tasting.
