• Civitavecchia Port - Your English and Spanish speaking tour leader will be waiting for you at the meeting point: Piazzale Scipione Matteuzzi holding a sign with your surname. The meeting point is very close to the port, all you need to do is take a short walk along a straight road. - Piazza della Repubblica - The tour will start from The Republic square, surmounted by the famous Naiads fountain. The naiads are the nymphs who preside over all the fresh waters of the earth and possessed healing and prophetic faculties. - Piazza del Colosseo - In this square you can admire the Colosseum and discover its history, see the Arch of Constantine and the Roman Forum (from the outside). - Complesso del Vittoriano - You will be able to climb one of the tallest buildings in the city, the altar of the fatherland, to admire a breathtaking view and take wonderful photographs. - Trevi Fountain - The Trevi Fountain is an 18th-century fountain designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi. It is located very close to the Spanish embassy and at its entrance you can admire the famous Barcaccia fountain - Pantheon - The pantheon is the oldest church in the city, built to be a pagan temple, it has the largest dome of its time. The kings of Italy are buried inside. - Piazza Navona - The square is surmounted by three fountains, an embassy and a beautiful church. This place is famous because during the Christmas period you can find the famous Christmas market here. But the square hides a secret… beneath it lies the great stadium of Domitian. - St. Peter’s Square - The last stop is represented by the Vatican. During the walk you will see Castel Sant’Angelo, the square built by Bernini and St. Peter’s Basilica.
