It is named after the Palazzo di Spagna, the seat of the Spanish Embassy to the Holy See. Nearby is the famous Column of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. - Campo de’ Fiori - Lunch is included at a traditional Roman restaurant. - Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - Piazza Venezia is Rome’s central hub, where several major roads intersect, including Via dei Fori Imperiali and Via del Corso. It is named after Palazzo Venezia, built by a Venetian Cardinal next to the church of Saint Mark, Venice’s patron saint. The Palazzo Venezia once served as the Republic of Venice’s embassy in Rome. One side of the Piazza houses Italy’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Altare della Patria, part of the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s first king. (exterior view). - Arch of Constantine - The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch located between the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. - Circus Maximus - The Circus Maximus, Latin for the greatest or largest circus, is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue. Today, it is a public park. - Piazza Navona - Navona Square is one of Baroque Rome’s most stunning and distinctive squares, built on the remains of Domitian’s Stadium. The current square’s shape precisely follows the perimeter of the ancient stadium, which the emperor constructed in 86 AD for athletic competitions and horse racing. - Pantheon - “The most beautiful relic of ancient Rome, a temple so well preserved that it appears as the Romans must have seen it in their times,” described French writer Stendhal in the 19th century (exterior view).

• In Rome Vans are better than Buses: Van = up to 8 seats, Bus = from 9 to 50 seats. Note that Buses are not allow in the historical areas of Rome (official ship excursions from Cruise Companies are operated with Buses). This mean that the Bus will drop you off and you will walk for the entire duration of the tour (6/7 hours) to the other side of town at the end of the tour to be picked up. Best Viator’s Rome excursions are with private Vans. Bus in Rome has only a small number of authorized spaces dedicated to pickup/dropoff travellers so, usually, during the city tour you had to walk for about 4/6 miles. In a big group chance are that you’ll have to wait much longer for people lingering at the sights and stand in line longer for the toilets or at the snack counter. You will also have much less one on one time with your driver and guide or time to ask questions, because you’ll have to share them with a lot more people.

• Above 8 passengers please make multiple bookings and we will provide the service either with multiple Vans/SUVs, according to our availability and local regulations. The multiple vehicles will make the tour together with the same stops. The Guests can switch as they prefer in the available vehicles

• St Peter’s Basilica: on rare occasions could be closed or inaccessible or with a long line wait time to enter. It is over our control, so no refunds or discounts will be issued.
