See Atacama Desert through a reliable tour company - This is a great tour company. I walked into the office and Michelle walked me through the different tours they had and showed me a video. I booked the red stones and lagunas, the geisers, and the astronomical tours. The tours included the transport from the hotel, breakfast and lunch for full day tours, and drop off back in San Pedro. I actually made quite a few friends I met in the tours. I can definitely recommend Alabalti Atacama.

early morning adventure - Such a worthwhile experience! I usually get carsick but Hugo was a fantastic driver and Mauricio gave a great tour (and spoke slowly and clearly in Spanish so nonnative speakers could understand). Breakfast with baguette from La Frachutteria was the cherry on top!

3 tours, 3 different experiences and 3 excellent guides and service! - We walked in San Pedro and talked with many tour companies and it was Alabalti Atacama that we picked. It was Gloria that welcomed us and her empathy and good communication gave us the confidence to choose Alabalti. Not the cheapest price we got but just a few dollars more expensive. In the end we realize we were very lucky to book through this company because the service was excellent: safe drivers Winder and Franco, excellent guides Jimena, Joaquín and Hugo and very tasty snacks (including dried fruits, cheese, ham, chips, biscuits, juices, wine and their one pisco sour with rica rica). We did 3 short tours: swimming and floating in the lovely Laguna Cejar (this company makes sure to choose the slots when the lagoon is less crowded), the astronomic tour with sky observation (they have a partnership with a company that only do Astronomic Tours) and the cherry on the top of the cake was the Archeological Tour with Hugo. This last tour is a very complete tour and a must if you want to contextualize the history of the pré-colombian civilizations that were able to adapt to the harsh living conditions in the Atacama desert more than 9000 years ago. In the end, it is not about the landscapes that you see (or paying a few less dollars) but the service that you get. Our guides were very good! Ask Hugo for the Archelogical Tour and you will have a lovely day of history with the similar landscapes from the Valle of La Luna and Vallecito.

Favourite tour in Atacama - Strongly recommend. We went on the piedras rojas tour. Our driver Flaviano was friendly, punctual, and safe. Our guide Diego was fantastic - he provided so much information throughout the day, seamlessly switching between Spanish and English so no one felt left out. On top of that the food was tasty and plentiful. My favourite tour experience in San Pedro de Atacama.

Beautiful scenery Great guide - I went on the Rita Salares tour. Our driver Orlando wias professional and very safe. Our guide Diego Denver was the best guide I've had in five tours in San Pedro de Atacama He takes amazing pictures is very informative and knowledgeable in educating us. He has a great sense of humor and connects warmly with the people in the group. The scenery was amazing and we saw so many different animals. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. Highly recommended

First time in dreamy Atacama - I travelled from Greece for the first time in south America and in Chile. I visited Uruguay, then Santiago and some locations in the Atacama region. I hadn't booked any tour/excursion before my arrival at San Pedro de Atacama. I chose Alabalti agency and I booked immediately every excursion I was interested in. Pablo was great and he helped me organise my schedule very easily. So in 4 days I did various long routes, with specialised excellent guides, as Diego and Kevin, and expert drivers, as Roberto and Oscar. We visited beautiful natural reserves, volcanos and lakes in high altitude, such as: Laguna Chaxa, Laguna Cejar, Ojos del Salar, Laguna Tebinquiche, Piedras Rojas, Salar de Aguas Calientes, Monjes de la Pacana, Valle de Arcoiris, Yerbas Buenas petroglyphs, Laguna Miscanti and Miñiques. Last of all, one night we watched the stars and the galaxy in the desert, under the guidance of Alberto, an Italian astronomer of the Llama Stargazing project -- a truly exclusive, unique experience.
