Reserved individuals blossom into confident, engaging children. Gone are electronic gadgets, chores, and schedules. Our “Catch a Wave” trip makes everyone feel like they are part of a team, all working together to achieve a common goal. We’ve been told time and time again from parents that this trip was one of the most rewarding experiences their kids have ever had. “Catch A Wave” is so much more than just a raft trip. Our safety conscious and informative guides will do their utmost to teach a little bit about the natural history and geology of the area as well as find time to go for a hike to a breathtaking waterfall or explore some old growth forest.

A family raft trip in Wells Gray Park. Designed for kids as young as 7 years old. This is the perfect combination of fun and adventure. Ride somes waves on this 7 km (4.3 mi) run of the Clearwater River, explore an island, and enjoy a riverside snack that is all included in the ‘Natural Outdoor Playground.’ Come and enjoy a family out outing like no other full of epic experiences!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum age is 7 years old and minimum weight 90 lbs (41 kg)
- Running shoes are essential or sandals that strap to your feet
- Recommend females to wear bathing suit under a change of clothes
- Recommend males to wear quick dry pair of shorts
- Make sure your eyeglasses have a strap

Fantastic Family Whitewater Fun - Had an absolute BLAST Whitewater Rafting today with my sister and our kids for the very first time. The Clearwater River was beautiful, we had a chance to cliff jump, snack, spotted an Eagle 🦅 and our guides Siam & Ollie were excellent - especially with the kids! They really made it a memorable, positive and very safe experience for us newbies and we are looking forward to another trip very soon!

Great family rafting trip! - Six of us enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Travis and Ollie. Our grandchildren couldn’t stop talking about the experience. Despite some inclement weather the trip was awesome.
Both Travis and Ollie I’m sure went above and beyond to ensure that we all went home with unforgettable memories.
I would recommend this family trip highly.

Fantastic! - Excellent experience with Grace and Aidan! Perfect introduction to rafting. Both my 10yr old and 14yr old loved it. Quite a steep hike to a beautiful waterfall and an option to jump in. Wear closed toe shoes that can get wet.

You gotta go on this rafting experience!! - We had a wonderful experience with our grandson and friend from San Diego! The staff was friendly and entertaining while still being safety oriented. We enjoyed the paddling, the hike to the waterfall and jump in, the picnic, the wildlife and swimming down the quiet parts of the river. Definitely would recommend to family and friends!

Catch A Wave rafting - The rafting trip was AWESOME!!! Just enough rapids to get everyone pumped!! The guides were great, funny and made the trip a real adventure!! Great value for the money!!

An absolute blast for all ages! - We did the catch a wave with 3 adults (ages spanning 22 to 53) and 2 children aged 9 and 7 and every single one of us had an absolute blast! We received a thorough safety and instructions introduction before setting off and we felt very safe and well prepared with the team. The best of it was that Siam, Olly and Ayden went above and beyond with the kids, having them laugh and giving them an experience they will never forget. Keep it up! We’re sure hoping to be back someday!

From 8 to 73 yrs old! - We were a little nervous at first but after the first waves the nerves disappeared and the experience was a blast! Our guides Tom and Oli took exceptional care of the elders in the group and Keiran got us to our destination and back again safely. So much fun, highly recommended!!
