A blast on the water - Great staff that gave easy instructions on how to operate the catboat safely. Beautiful lake and relaxing location. Driving the catboat was a blast. Didn’t get wet and felt very safe. I highly recommend this adventure when you’re in Clermont.

Holiday Highlight! - We had a fantastic tour with our guide, Treavor, and we were the only couple for the 10 am tour so we felt very privileged to have the tour all to ourselves! Treavor was a wonderful guide, and safety was paramount so we felt totally comfortable driving the boat. Treavor was very knowledgeable about the local history and wildlife and entertaining at the same time. No matter what age you are, you are sure to enjoy and never forget this tour! We highly recommend it!

Catboats - Well worth the trip. Our guide was fantastic. I believe she had as much fun as we did. we will be back again and bring more people.

Amazing - completely worth it! - Exactly as advertised! The catboats are so much fun and the chain of lakes connected by Cypress are just beautiful! Our guide was a 7th generation Floridian who was knowledgeable and engaging with trivia questions peppered through our our tour. Will definitely be visiting this place again!

A Day to Remember - We had the best time! Nate was a great guide! Being out on the lakes and waterways was a new experience to us. Seeing the vegetation, beautiful trees, and birds was awesome! My husband and I are already planning on going back with friends and family. Highly recommend!

The catboats were easy to maneuver and super fun! - Wow, just wow! The guide and his assistant were awesome, very friendly, and informative. They made us feel welcome. The tour was more than I imagined and hubby and I really enjoyed being out on the lakes. You will need sunscreen, swimwear, and swim shoes unless you don’t mind getting regular clothes wet. They provide 2 bottled waters and there is a place to store a small purse or bag. Thank you so much Nate and Bastian! If you experience this tour please be sure to tip, they deserve it!

Fantastic Day - Great time on the water, great scenery, we didn't see a lot of wildlife but the scenery in the canals was beautiful. Glad we did this tour, very informative.

Amazing experience - I did some water extreme but that was fun! The guides were good, and also the catboat was really fun. The only problem I had was that in the end of the tour it started to get really wind so there were a lot of waves but we made it.

Must do activity that is worth every cent we paid!!!! Highly recommend - We were looking for a fun activity while we were on a girls trip to Orlando . We decided on Catboat Escapes in Clermont which was just 25 min from our hotel. This is definitely worth what they are charging even without with the FREE photos and bottles of cold water. They don’t try to nickel and dime you like most other places. I would HIGHLY recommend this!! We had a great time, although at the start I was thinking I might not be able to drive the boat and should switch places with a passenger!!!! In less than 10 min I was extremely comfortable and having a great time driving the boat. The guide was very interesting and entertaining. He had some entertaining trivia and interesting historical stories. We also had some free time to just open up the throttle and enjoy the lake at our leisure. We were given a decent amount of time to just freestyle around the lake… so much that I thought maybe my radio wasn’t working and he called the boats in, but he was still sitting and watching us all enjoy the lake. We got to see where some scenes from Waterboy were filmed too. Our guide took some pictures before and during the trip of each of us and emailed them to us after the trip.. while they are not professional photos, they were great pictures and about the same quality as others that I have paid for. Best of all they were free and we could download them. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we all agreed that we would do the trip again. I don’t write many reviews but felt compelled to write one for this. Clermont is beautiful with the rolling hills and the large lakes. If not for the amazing weather I wouldn’t believe I was in Fla. There is no better way to enjoy the lake and connecting creeks than on a craigcat power boat with catboat escapes!!!
