Highlights
  • Câmara de Lobos - The tour begins in Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village that became known internationally through a painting by Sir Winston Churchill.
The landscape of this city is marked by the presence of characteristic fishing boats, called “Xavelhas”.
  • Cabo Girao - We will go to the Cabo Girão viewpoint, with the famous glass suspended platform - “skywalk”, currently one of the most visited tourist attractions.
Cabo Girão is the highest promontory in Europe at 580 meters high.
The Cabo Girão viewpoint offers an unparalleled perspective over the cities of Câmara de Lobos and Funchal.
  • Seixal - Where you can see the emblematic Véu da Noiva Waterfall, whose beauty can be admired from the Véu da Noiva viewpoint.
Allow yourself to admire this abundant waterfall that bursts from the vegetation-covered hillside, projecting towards the sea.
An emblematic place on the north coast of Madeira.
  • Seixal Natural Pool - See the Well of Lesmas, in this sheltered place, the morphology of the rocks, of volcanic origin, forms natural pools with a peculiar profile. The dark tones of the rock formations contrast with the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean, creating a picture that is impossible to remain indifferent to.
  • Porto Moniz - Porto Moniz known for its natural pools, one of the main attractions on the north coast. This is where we stop for lunch and also for those who want to swim in the volcanic pools.
Furthermore, the surrounding landscape, with a panoramic perspective of the sea coast and its rocks, leaves no one indifferent.
  • Miradouro Ribeira da Janela - Ribeira da Janela, where the watercourse with the same name flows. It refers to the most extensive watercourse formed in the interior of the island. Ribeira da Janela is famous for its imposing mountains, where the green of the slopes is complemented by the crystal clear blue of the Atlantic.
  • Posto Florestal Fanal - Fanal is known for its mystical landscape, marked by the presence of a centuries-old tis forest - these specimens date back to a time before the discovery of the archipelago.
In this place you will find a vast forest area that invites you to peacefully enjoy the best that Nature has to offer. This idyllic space is one of the most emblematic places in the municipality of Porto Moniz, housing a landscape heritage of great beauty.
  • Ponta Do Sol - Ponta de Sol, with its stunning beaches and typical villages, is known for being the one that enjoys the greatest number of hours of sunshine per year.
Therefore, it is where two famous products from Madeira Island are grown, bananas and sugar cane. Floriculture and horticulture also play prominent roles.
  • Serra de Agua - Passing between the north and south of the Island, Taberna da Poncha is a mandatory stop to enjoy the famous traditional Madeiran drink, poncha.
Poncha a pescador, the traditional one, is made with brandy, lemon peel crushed with sugar. As time went by, they began to make other ponchas such as regional, passion fruit and tangerine.
Being also a typical Madeiran drink, they added nikita to the list. If it is made with alcohol, it is made with pineapple ice cream and beer. In the non-alcoholic version, the beer is replaced by passion fruit breeze. Thinking about children who often accompany their parents, Taberna da Poncha started making alcohol-free poncha. Great trip. - What a great day we had with Christoph, he was a brilliant guide and driver. Very knowledgeable guy who obviously loved Madeira. He made it a fun day and came up with good suggestions for lunch in the places we stopped at.. We just seemed to get to the stops before the crowds arrived. Such a good day we booked another trip with him.

Amazing - Having a few days available we wanted to visit as much as possible and this tour really surprised us. In addition to being able to visit the most famous places on the island Christopher was very exhaustive in explaining and prepared about the history of Madeira. Dynamic and fun tour, Recommendation!

Superb discovery of Madeira - We made 2 private visits over 2 days with Christophe. He made us discover his island with passion. We appreciated his playful character and kindness. Don’t hesitate to book with his agency because it will save you from cramming 6 in 4/4 of the other agencies, you will see it for yourself and all for a reasonable Award 😉

Extraordinary! - **An Unforgettable Experience with Cristof!** We had the absolute pleasure of having Cristof as our jeep tour driver, and he made the entire experience exceptional from start to finish! Cristof took care of every detail, ensuring that we not only felt comfortable but that we were having an amazing time. His knowledge of the area was impressive—he shared fascinating facts and insights about Madeira, making the tour both educational and entertaining. What stood out the most was Cristof’s friendly and funny personality. He kept the energy high with his great sense of humor, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about us enjoying every moment of the trip. Whether it was navigating through the off-road terrain with ease or pointing out hidden gems, Cristof made sure this was an adventure we’ll never forget. If you’re lucky enough to have Cristof as your driver, you’re in for a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tour - This tour gave us more than expected and the 8 hours we had available unfortunately passed very quickly. Our tour guide, Christophe, was very funny, always joked to ease the situation and was seen to love his work. Christophe told us a lot about Madeira in terms of history, geology, flora and fauna (he may have always depended on the plants and animals he told us about) He's the one who doesn't see a problem, just the solutions, and when the police wouldn't let our car drive through an area, he talked to you and sorted everything out so we didn't have to walk up from the beach to the car ourselves. After Booking Referral Christophe was always available, he always answered questions quickly and was open to inquiries. In general, it can be said that the tour is well planned and organized, that as an outsider you can get to know Madeira from the inside and take all sides and everything beautiful from the island with you. Many thanks to Christophe for such a wonderful day! P.S Christophe can take excellent pictures and knows many shortcuts on the island

Fantastic Tour - Fantastic day out, 100% worth it! The tour driver was very polite making us feel comfortable, he did share the history about the villages, ports and also nature with some jokes which makes you remember what was said and of course we had a good laugh. Wasn’t rushed we did get enough time to swim, take pictures and even drink the local poncha. Highly recommended! Thank you
