Beautiful and relaxing Tour! Thanks to Luis - We were lucky to have Luis as our guide. He covered all the highlights of the entire island in one day and the views from every point were breathtaking. The tour was very laxing and we never felt rushed. We highly recommend this tour, and we are so happy to witness one of the natural wonders of the world. Thank you, Luis!

You must do this tour if you want to see Madeira - It was an amazing experience. We saw the whole island in one day and Luis was incredible. Took pictures of us and explained everything as well as answered all of our questions. We started at 9:30 and 8-9 hours later we were able to see the whole island. The time flew by. We tried authentic poncha and grabbed some lunch and continued our journey. We would do it again. Incredible views

Did Not Disappoint - I had no preconceived expectations from this island or tour. It was a stop on our transatlantic cruise and the first opportunity to get off the ship in a week. In the end of a marathon vacation, this is the stop that we just can't stop talking about. Madeira is BEAUTIFUL! We couldn't believe how varied it was from one part of the island to the next. Luis was our guide to this private tour and we cannot say enough good things about him. It was helpful that he would continually show us on the map where we were on the island. We were first off the ship and quick to be picked up, so we hit most of the major stops well ahead of the big tour buses. The island is very diverse, we began our day in Funchal (city) and traveled west, to the north, through the mountains and back south to the cruise ship. We saw small fishing towns, the area where Winston Churchill stayed and painted the fishing village, the lava pools and black beaches of the North, tasted local wine and punta, visited the forest with the cows (and cow pies) as well as laurel trees. We snacked on local delights and stopped at every lookout point around the island the best vistas (ocean, forest, city, etc.). We sadly missed the local flower festival because we had to be back on the ship, but could see and hear a bit from the port. Overall, it was a tour worth taking and we will forever have fond memories of our time in Portugal.

A wonderful way to get to know Madeira!! - We had a fantastic day, pick up from near the hotel, we saw literally the whole island and our lovely driver and guide Louis was so knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful. From picturesque little fishing ports to mystical old forests, from roaring Atlantic northern coast to stunning high viewpoints with views across the sea, from delicious local honey cake to poncho tasting, it really was a unforgettable beautiful day!!

Would do it again. Amazing tour and guide! - Another amazing tour. Luis, our guide is knowledgeable and had insights to history, geology, flora and fauna. He was always making sure we were getting the best experience. Had entrance tickets ready, prepared a picnic, and showed us sites not necessarily in the itinerary (per our request).

Excellent tour - very enjoyable - Luis is an excellent tour guide with great energy. We covered many of the focal points on the island during our full day tour. Beautiful views, which were complimented by the information and insights shared by Luis. If you would like to get a good appreciation/overview of the island, this is the tour - enjoy. Thank you, John & Fiona.

Our Favorite Tour - As first time visitors to Madeira, we found this a wonderful way to get out and see the natural beauty of the island. Our guide, Luis, is from the island and thus had a wealth of information to share. He knows all the ins and outs of driving the narrow, winding steep roads, and of finding parking in the more popular areas! We saw so much in one day and were able to walk around a lot too, and not just do drivebys. We never felt rushed and Luis is a very calm driver and guide. I would highly recommend this. We are so happy we had Luis as a guide.

Booking cancelled twice - Had booking cancelled twice in a matter of weeks with no explanation. Rearranged after first cancellation then cancelled again just a day before the trip. This was a Christmas gift to parents, really disappointing experience.
