Madeira Taxi/Tour - Highlight of our Trip! - We booked this during a recent cruise and had an incredible time during our day in Madeira! We really enjoyed having the chance to get out and see a little bit more of the island without being tied to a larger tour group. Diogo was also a fantastic host! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative before, during, and after our trip. His accurate drive and stop time estimates helped us see everything we had on our list for the day even though we were delayed leaving our ship! Despite the slight time crunch, he was flexible and always ready to head to the next stop when we were. He also made sure we were back on time for our departure. I would absolutely recommend him, and hope to work with him again if/when life takes us back to Madeira.

Stunning Madeira! - We had a fabulous day with our guide Diogo, who was very knowledgeable and good fun. Fantastic scenery & we learnt a lot about the history of Madeira, careful driving and we would recommend this tour 😁👍

Terrific tour with great folks - We had a terrific day with Tiago, our driver from Madeira Tours. They are easy to communicate with, went the extra mile and gave us a great, private tour that took us to places the larger tours couldn’t. Including a delightful stop at a local fruit stand where Tiago treated us to locally grown bananas. We hit all of the obligatory stops but were able to customize as we went and as the weather changed. A truly delightful tour, we will be back and will use Diogo and Tiago again. Highly recommended.

Cruise port tour/excursion option, instead of going in a big bus! - Great experience, driver arrived on time and easy to find. Our driver and guide, Manuel was very knowledgeable and fluent in English. He was able to get to places without problems, despite other big tourists busses that were around us. I wish I knew about the Porto Moniz pool (first) as an option instead of spending 1 hour and 30minutes eating at a restaurant. An idea suggestion is for Driver/Guide to talk more about the pool and then show us restaurants. Our driver allowed us to spend extra time in downtown Funchal since we have extra time.

Amazing day with Diogo! - Diogo was phenomenal! We changed our destination to the east side rather than the west side the day of our trip because we realized that we had already seen may of the parts on the west side. Diogo was flexible and friendly and willing to do whatever it took to have us enjoy our day together. This was no problem for him at all! He truly made the day all about what we wanted. His driving was excellent- we ALWAYS felt safe- He took us to wonderful areas and explained so many specifics along the way which made the whole day that much more magical and our connection to the island that much more special. He truly was such a joy and was so easy and comfortable to be with for the day. Diogo is a treasure. You will be so happy that you booked with him!!!!! Trust me- I have done LOTS of tours- Diogo is a STANDOUT!!!!!!

Diogo was amazing! - We had the most amazing tour, Diogo was an absolute superstar. We didn't know where or what we wanted to see. He explained everything clearly and was upfront with costs (which we thought was amazing value for money). Diogo was very happy, polite and his English was amazing. He explained everything to us as we toured. He was very passionate about his home island. He would drop us off at different places and would explain how to get about and what to look out for and see and where he would meet us after we finished. We were not rushed at all. When we returned we would be greeted with a massive smile and wave so we knew where to find him. We will revist Funchal because of our experience and we will use Diogo again without question. Thank you Diogo for making our visit to Funchal so special.

Wonderful impressions in Madeira - It was a fantastic overview of this wonderful island. I can only recommend the tour especially with Diogo!!! We booked a day trip. Again and again, we would do that to this kind young man.

Honestly AVOID if you're a girl - I was debating leaving this review for a long time because I hate to drag down small businesses. But I can't leave it unsaid because I'd hate for another girl to have to deal with this. In July myself and my Fiancé visited Medeira as it has always been on our bucketlist. It is SUCH a beautiful island honestly, don't let this deter you from it but do avoid this business. We had a private tour with Diogo and private is one way to describe it because, at every chance the tour guide got out of ear shot of my Fiancé when he was admiring the beautiful scenery, he was being weirdly creepy in an almost subtle way. That's why I felt I couldn't say anything at the time. He kept talking about his kids and GF in a disrespectful way. Leaning into me telling me he'd have a chance with me then saying inappropriate things like: "why would I pay for child support", just lots of little inappropriate things for a tour with people he doesn't know. Why would he even consider he'd have a chance with me I wouldn't even sniff a person who doesn't cafe about his kids of baby mama. Anyway I've said what I said.
