10 - It was a great day visiting the two Mayan ruins or as Carlos said fleet our guide are open air museums, it was amazing. The butterfly cenote is beautiful and the food very good. 10 out of 10 highly recommended

Well organized and interesting tour! - Well organized tour for a small group visiting both Tulum and Coba, Maya archeological sites. Our guide Paco was well informed and tried his best to show us as much as he could for a limited time. Both cenotes Mariposa and Chen-Ha were also breathtaking in their own way!

Underrated - Coba is under rated. It should be before Tulum or on it's own. This place deserves a cleansing before entering. Coba is so beautiful. It is humbling to stand in a place where others more creative than myself have imagined. It is truly magnificent.

Wonderful Tour! - Tour was great and is well worth the money. The pickup details were confirmed the evening before the trip. A van came to pick us right on the assigned time and took us to a meeting point where we were transferred to another van from another tour company (Ekinox Tours). We didn't know about this change until that time. The van was clean and comfortable. The guide was great, knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor sense and kept the group together all the time. We were provided 2-3 water bottles, a fruit bar and the first stop on the itinerary was Tulum where plastic bottles are not allowed (the guide had already informed us). We spent almost an hour and a half here with an hour of guided tour and 30 mins of free time. Next was Coba where the guide already informed us of different ways to tour - walk, bicycle and driven-tricycle. The whole group chose the tricycle option and it was so much fun. Third stop was a Cenote and lunch which were okay. Similar to morning, we were taken to the midpoint and transferred to a van that took us back to the hotel. We started the day around 8am and got dropped off at 7:30pm. Overall, definitely worth the time!

Amazing tour. - A trip down the past. The tricycle was a relieve. Water was also wanted and needs with heat and humid temperature.

Interesting must see but … - The van was old and uncomfortable. The space was too tight for 6 hrs drive, bilingual tours are tiresome for all involved, an earlier start would have given us more time at each location.

A very nice day! - We had a very nice day with this tour - we got picked up first (hotel location) so we had to wait quite a long time to pick up everyone else but the bus was comfortable. We first went to visit Tulum (bring sunscreen and water) Coba and then the Cenote. Amazing experience - but note lunch is quite late on the day so definitely bring snacks. We saw the itinerary and guessed a late lunch, so we had food with us, but this is the reason for the 4 starts. Plus the wait in picking everyone else up! Guides were knowledgeable and very helpful. The trip is about 12 hours long and we were provided with water and bathroom breaks. Recommended if you want a day pack of sightseeing

Worthwhile - Our guides, Luis and Angel, were great. We very much enjoyed the ruins. The visit to Coba included a neat extra with the tricitaxi rides, but also seemed a bit rushed. The visit to the Mayan village/cenote for lunch and the Shaman was also enjoyable.

I will never book a trip like this again. - I was very disappointed with our experience. First, while I know it is listed in the details for the trip, I did not know upon buying the tickets through viator that we would have to pay another $25 per person in cash as soon as we boarded the bus. Why is this not included in the $85 that we payed up front? We were also told that we would have to pay for a bike ride at Coba which was another $7 per bike in cash. We were picked up 1/2 an hour late and we were never told (or I did not see in the details) that plastic bottled water would not be allowed at Tulum so we did not bring any other kind of water bottle and it was extremely hot with little to no shade in the park. I also did not see anywhere that we should bring bug spray and the mosquitos were terrible at Coba. The food was not very traditional Maya and was poor quality and there were so many other tourists at the Cenote that we were grouped in with that you could barely hear or see what was going on. Also, costs of drinks at Tulum are $4-5 for water/gatorade. When it was all said and done, on top of the $380 I had paid for my family or four for this trip up front, I paid almost an extra $165 with all the other stuff that I was not informed of upon purchase of the trip. I will never book a trip like this again. I think we would have been better off just taking a bus or cab on our own.
