A Wonderful Tour of Coba - We had a memorable day exploring Coba with Caleb. He was very knowledgeable about the history and background of this amazing site. He was able to answer all our questions and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. Lunch at a Mayan village was a lovely add-on. Highly recommend this tour and Caleb. Thank you for a great day.

A Very Special Experience - We had the best time on our private tour. The company owner, Sergio, was responsive and accommodating when we reached out the day before to request a later pickup time and to notify the company of some dietary restrictions within our party. Leo, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and funny. We had to do the sightseeing on a more condensed timeline due to the later depature time and needing to pack for an evening flight, but he rolled with it and we saw everything on the itinerary without us feeling rushed. Riding bikes through ancient ruins was a once in a lifetime experience and the cenotes were magical. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Amazing day out with our guide, Caleb! - This tour was recommended to my husband and me by our hotel when we said we’d like to visit the ruins at Coba and also swim in a cenote.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Caleb. He was so nice and kept up a steady stream of conversation, peppered with facts and history about the area. He also kindly offered to take photos of us throughout the day, which was very much appreciated.
We started out viewing the ruins at Coba. I was a little leery driving around a rock-strewn path on a bicycle given that it’s been years since I’ve ridden one - haha. If you feel the same, you can always hitch a ride on one of the many pedi-cabs available. Transportation aside, seeing and learning about the ruins was fascinating.
(Side note: There are very clean restrooms before you enter the grounds of the ruins - be sure to bring pesos or small USD bills to tip the attendant.)
After the ruins, we visited an underground cenote. It blew us away. For a while we were the only people there so it was even more amazing (thank you, Caleb, for helping us beat the rush). The only other beings (as far as we know!) were bats and small, blind catfish.
(Another side note: You will need to take a shower before entering the cenote as it serves as drinking water for the community. The shower will be cold. Very cold. Almost as cold as the cenote.)
The last stop of the day was lunch with a Mayan family. We had an opportunity to make tortillas with one of the elders of the village, which was a special treat. And the lunch - it may be the best chicken I have ever eaten in my life. Our hosts were incredibly gracious and we left full and happy.
Overall, the day exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Start to Finish - A+ - With so many different tours and companies to chose from we felt like we were flipping a coin. Well, we won this one. We could not have asked for a better day with Salvadore. From the moment he greeted us, we knew it was going to be a great day. The entire trip was amazing. Coba is amazing and the cenotes are exactly what you would expect, awesome. The two highlights of the trip was Salvadore and the lunch with the Mayan family. Salvadore's knowledge was impecable but his personable nature is what sets him apart. The meal was simply incredible and the people made us feel as if we were a part of their family. We are so happy we chose this tour and Salvadore was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!
