The most valuable 2 hrs you’ll spend in Cobh. - What a wonderful experience. Kieran gives you knowledge and context for Cobh and Ireland. It’s the history class you wish you’d had. All presented in lovely surroundings as you walk around Cobh. Wherever you are from, just go. We are still talking about the things we learned days later.

Thought provoking, emotional and a definite must!!!!!!!!🇮🇪☘️💚 - Kieran was an amazing tour guide who is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was there on my own and have very little ability to retain information. However ,this tour was so interesting that I learned more in this tour than I ever have as an adult. I want to learn more about Irish political history due to this amazing tour and hope you revisit Cobh in the near future.

Highly recommended - Fascinating details about the long history of Irish struggles for independence, while walking the streets where many of the incidents occurred.

Mind expanding! - There were only two of us on this tour (me, an American of Irish parents and a fellow visiting from Scottland) so it felt more like hanging out with a family friend who was taking us around town than an official tour. The guild is a local and very passionate about the subject. And he let is show! He started the tour letting us know that we may think we understand the Irish and English history but that there is so much more that we could not know because we were never taught it. He helped us see events through the eyes of the people who lived it, on the ground. I am still processing info he gave me, especially events in 1916 that involved German guns and how if the guns had reached the rebbes maybe the world could have avoided WWll. The tour was VERY thought provoking, I really recommend it if you are a student of history.

Great Chance to Learn about Cobh's History - Kieran gave us an excellent tour of Cobh from the perspective of the long Irish fight for independence. We especially enjoyed the local stories that tie into bigger histories. Highly recommended as it is a fantastic tour for anyone with an interest in history.

Must do educational tour of Cobh - We were met by Kieran who was dressed in military garb and was taken on a 2.5 hour tour around historic Cobh. We were transported behind the scenes of the town and country from the times of the great famine all the way to present day. He explained about the war for independence from British rule and all the guerrilla warfare tactics the republican had to take to defeat the British. Very interesting and Kieran was very charismatic and explained everything to our level. Brilliant.

Great opportunity to enjoy the area and learn about it's history! - Kieran was an outstanding tour guide! He has deep knowledge of the area and it's history and we thoroughly enjoyed our time walking with him--even in the rain! His tour prompted us to find out more about this period in Irish history, listening/watching documentaries while driving from place to place. He was spot on and really knows his stuff. Thanks, Kieran! Bob and Mary Larkin
