Private Tour at Cobh - Derek was wonderful. Arrived early. Very knowledgeable. Provided commentary on the drive. At Blarney castle, made recommendations as to what to see. Clear on meeting time and place. Had reserved our tickets at the Jamison tour and gave us time for lunch. Offered another stop since we had time. Appreciated check in text the day before so easy to reach him at the meeting point. Enjoyed stop at woolen shop. Overall great. Highly recommend Derek and the tour

Packed a few-hour tour with lifelong memories - Professional and warm and fun, Derek goes above and beyond to ensure that you get what you want out of your time together - even if you are not totally sure what you want your tour to entail. My husband and I knew we wanted to go to Midleton but were very wishy washy on how to fill the additional hours of our tour. Derek is not pushy or impatient , he listens, and in the absence of clear direction he intuits wonderfully. And he’s happy to adapt throughout the day! A font of knowledge who had the “in” everywhere we went, he’s just the perfect guide!

Wonderful Day - Cruise Stop in Cobh - My family of 4 booked a day with Derek and had an absolutly wonderful time. We were cruising and had a port day on Cobh. Derek picked us up in clean and modern van and shuttled us to several amazing sites. Derek is local and very familiar with Cork and Cobh. We tourned the Blarney Castle and Blarney Woolery. Be sure to allow some time for shopping in Blarney, this is a great spot! We went to the Jameson Distillery Experience in Midleton and loved every minute. I bought a couple bottles of Red Breast that can only be purchased at the distillery store. We llhad a quick lunch at the distillery and their restaurant had plenty of options and the food was quality. We ended our day taking in some pretty sites in the Cobh area and then were dropped off right at the gate of our cruise port We really enjoyed our time and will be reaching out to Derek on our next visit to Ireland.

Irish Adventures, Great Vibes—All Thanks to Derek - We spent the day touring with Derek, and honestly? He was incredible. Super knowledgeable, genuinely funny, full of great energy, and just radiated passion for his country and his work. You could tell he really loves what he does—and it made the whole experience even more special. Originally, our tour was set for Blarney Castle, Kinsale, and Cobh, but Derek was super cool and flexible, and helped us customize it to what we were really into. We ended up swapping in Jameson (because, priorities), Blarney Castle, and Cobh—and it was perfect. We walked away with a ton of interesting stories, a new appreciation for this beautiful part of Ireland, and yep, even a piece of cork to remember it all by. If you're thinking about booking a tour, 100% go with Derek. You won’t just get a guide—you’ll get a legit, personalized experience.

Amazing day in Cork! - Derek was beyond amazing! He tailored our day to the things we requested to see and gave great recommendations on where to go. We covered so much ground and saw things we would never have seen or heard before. The side excursion to the Kindred Spirits Choctaw Monument was a true highlight for us. Kindness like that should be shared! We saw Cork from someone who knows and cares about the history. Very knowledgeable and professional as well as a lot of fun! We will be back to see Derek. Thank you again for an amazing day!

Private Ireland experience - This is NOT your routine cruise ship bus tour. This may be some of the same locations but this has the special touch of personalization and a feel of being treated as a truly appreciated customer. Derek knows how to get you around the crowds and provides special insights to locations visited. He also blends in stories and historical significant events that help immerse you in the moment. He is passionate about his country and shares it without burdening you in the same old “facts”. Great sense of humor and someone you’ll call friend.

Interesting to see how... - Interesting to see how the Irish Whiskey was made. We had a fantastic tour guide at the distillery. She was so knowledgeable and it probably helped that she liked her whiskey!
