Exploring on your own! - Exactly as described and had a great time. The cart pick-up area is just outside the gates of the cruise terminal, so I really appreciated the email received a week or so in advance that detailed exactly where to go. Gas cart, came fueled up, clean, and ready to roll, no issues during the drive. It's a great place to explore and many beaches, shops, and spots to check out. Felt surprisingly safe to operate a low speed vehicle here - other vehicles generally passed safely and other than the occasional pedestrian, bicycle, or donkey :) not too busy.

Amazing Time! A must in Grand Turk! - Highlight of our trip! We had so much fun! The carts ran great & it was super affordable. We loved being able to go on our own without a guide. We were able to go all over the island & experienced everything! Had the best tacos of our lives, saw a million wild donkeys lol & even saw a whale breach the water! Hands down best excursion on our cruise. Rented it through Viator. I am an agent & have also had several clients who have booked a cart. Everyone has loved it!

Great golf cart rental! - 5 out of 5. The 6 passenger cart was perfect. It was in great shape and was perfect for 6 adults to cruise around in. They delivered to our rental house and picked it up. They guys were very friendly and the transaction was very easy. Booked online was easy. Had it for 2 days and easily decided to get again later in our stay for another “drive about”. LOL A golf cart is the perfect way to get around Grand Turk. Fresh air and very comfortable. Also 2 days was only $10 worth of gas. Definitely would recommend to get a machine from this company!

A pain at first - It took way took long to be given the golf cart after we had to walk off port property without being told anything. The website leads you to believe you pick it up outside the port building. Too misleading. Once we got the cart we had a good time.

Average experience - I would say my experience was mediocre. When we arrived to pick up our cart the attendant’s handwritten list showed we had reserved a 4 seater cart instead of the 6 seater I had paid for. Even though I had the receipt with me it took about 15 minutes for him to work through the confusion before we could leave. Simple misunderstanding, but added to the fact that the cart was a bit run down would have me renting from another vendor in the future, there were many to choose from with newer, more modern carts.

Go elsewhere - After booking with Paradise online (their website was actually pretty user-friendly), I was emailed a QR code that was to make the check-in process quicker. Once we arrived, no one ever looked at it and we had to completely fill out paperwork again. The rental location was quite a ways away from the port, and there were many other venders that we walked by getting to Paradise. Once we finally found them, we went from person to person trying to get a cart released to us. The cart we finally got (unit 06) was old, was very difficult to get started, and had almost zero braking. In retrospect we should have returned it and demanded a replacement. We were given virtually no instructions on where to go and how to get there, and the "agents" were impossible to understand. We were charged for not getting gas, although no one told use we needed to. In our view, when you rent a cart it should be full of gas and we should not have to worry about it, or be charged extra. Should be covered in the cost of rental. I would not rent from these folks again.

Awful! Do not recommend! - I don’t NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! The website is very very misleading! You do not pick your cart up at the port it’s about a mile walk to reach the destination! And then the crap show starts the carts are old and beat up gasoline burner that are on empty when you pick it up and they would like for you to put a gallon of gas back in it! I waited 30 minutes for them to do paperwork and put air in the tires! Rent the carts from Carnival!

Not a good experience and would like a partial refund - I got off a Carnival Cruise ship on Sept 17, 2024 at 10am and picked up the reserved cart from Paradise Carts. I paid the extra chard for 4 adults to have a 6 person cart so we would have plenty of space and power when booking at a price of $278.48. At Check in, just outside the gates of the Port, the worker was kind of a jerk. I mentioned to him at that time I wanted a faster golf cart due to experiences in other locations and islands. He kind of blew me off and then gave my husband a phone number in case we had any issues. We got in the cart and made our way to the light house (making 1 stop on the way for a soda and took a side road to see the water). The cart got slower and slower as we drove. We got to the light house and stayed about 20 mins then headed back down the same road to check out other parts of the island and broke down. The phone number given would not work or I wasn't given info on how to make a call on the island. Thankfully a passing tourist/Carnival guest that I had spoke to at a previous stop was kind enough to stop and took my husband back to Paradise Carts to get us a new cart. We waited about an hour on the side of the road. The smaller 4 person cart was much faster and better than the more expensive cart I paid for. On returning to the Paradise carts and asking the same guy from check in for a refund for the difference between the 6 person cart and the 4 person cart he gave me a smart ass responses like "BUT did the second cart work" and I couldn't believe it. He only wanted to take me serious when I said ok let me take your picture for the reviews. I am not someone who usually makes negative reviews but his attitude was so dismissive. I have reached out to [email protected] and turksandcaicosgolfcarts.com asking for my refund and No response. The price difference might be $75 but it is the principle. I work hard for my money and should get what i paid for. I am not asking for a free use of the golf cart. But NO RESPONSE! So beware of this company. PS To top if off the guy who was nice enough to take my husband back to get us a replacement cart said he had the same issue with Paradise Carts in the past and would not use them again. He has been to the island several times. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like more info. On a positive note, buy the carrots at the light house for the donkeys. It was the best part of the trip and I feed them as we sat on the side of the road.

Terrible Experience - My family and I rented a 6-seater golf cart from this outfit for an excursion as part of our cruise stop on Grand Turk. The first turn-off was how far of a walk it was from the cruise port to the pickup point and the glaring lack of signage to get there. My mother has limited mobility, and we were not permitted to drive the cart back into the port to pick her up. The second disappointment came with the interaction with the staff. We finally found the roadside sign for the company with several men just standing around looking at us suspiciously. After asking several of them if they were who we needed to talk to, we finally found one who said yes. He pulled out a piece of paper and asked my name, and that was literally the only conversation we had with him. He handed me a form, I completed what I thought needed to be completed, and handed it back to him. He gave me a copy and gestured toward a cart. No explanation as to how to operate it, no suggestions for places to go or things to see, no explanation of how to access the gas tank, no offer to see how much gas was already in it - NOTHING. It was one of the most unprofessional and rude interactions I have had with a business to whom I was giving my money that I've ever had. The cart itself was a piece of crap. Every time we wanted to start moving, I had to hold the gas pedal down for about 10 seconds before the engine finally started. Since we were driving on regular roads and had to time our entry onto roads with existing traffic, this was incredibly dangerous. The brakes were virtually non-existent. If my cart was any example, their carts are very poorly maintained and not at all safe. We only had the cart for a couple of hours, most of the time spent stopped at beaches and beach bars. Yet, when we went to refill the tank before returning it, we found that the tank was nearly empty, meaning that it didn't have much gas in it when we picked it up. Given that they charge about twice what it costs to rent most cars plus the fact that we had to fill it up with gas, we felt scammed. If you're considering renting a cart as part of a cruise excursion, definitely go with someone else. There are several other rental outfits in the cruise port itself whose staff are much more friendly and helpful, and their carts are much nicer.
