Not a great experience-communication - I did not get to experience the Tiki Booze Cruise so I am not eating or commenting the Booze Cruise itself. My rating and review are for the local vendor and Viator. I learned my cruise was cancelled once I got to the island. I called the local to find out where the meeting point was since the Viator description did not list it. The gentleman who answered told me the trip was not running and was cancelled. That was an inconvenience but not horrible. I would have appreciated receiving proactive communication and refund from the vendor rather than having to call and learn of the cancellation an hour before we should have departed. It would have given me time to make other arrangements. The gentleman who answered told me to contact Viator for my refund. I did so and as I was online with a representative the call dropped or I was hung up on three times. Not sure which but it was an incredibly frustrating experience. I did check my cell signal between calls. It was strong so the issue seems to be on Victor’s end. Gratefully either the vendor contacted Viator or a representative at Viator heard enough of my issue to understand what I needed and my return was processed.
