Wonderful day in Costa Rica - Such a wonderful tour . Erlan did an amazing job making sure we got to do everything we wanted . We wanted to see sloths and he made sure we saw them up close . We had one of the best meals at a local restaurant. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful day . Highly recommend.

It can't get any better - This was a mother and daughter trip that will will forever be remembered. Our 1st time in Costa Rica and very 1st excursion and it was absolutely amazing. Our guide Manuel made us feel like VIP every step of the way. The van was very clean and he offered an assortment of beverages. Lunch was delicious. Funny Tours Costa Rica - Four Great Costa Rican Experiences in One Trip. - THANK YOU OSCAR! This was my 3rd time visiting Costa Rica. This was the best trip! Our tour guide was amazing. We connected with his company on the beach behind Planet Hollywood. The tour operators on the beach are bi-lingual, professional, know some great places to go that are not your typical tourist destinations. The day before we started our excursion, Oscar was available to drive a group of us to Coco Beach for a great Costa Rician meal at Papagayo. Oscar picked up our little family of 3. We went to the rainforest and saw the sloths, monkeys, frogs, and more. It was amazing. The second part of our full day excursion was lunch at a small local restaurant. The food was amazing and they had a small and beautiful butterfly pavilion attached to the restaurant. The restaurant is El Sabor De Dona Carmen. After lunch, our third stop was to the volcano. You must experience the hot mud bath. It's weird and fun at the same time. Our last stop was the waterfalls in the national park. Breathtaking. While there, we purchased a few souvenirs. I highly recommend Funny Tours Costa Rica. You will not be disappointed. TIP: The money paid to the tour guides outside the hotel goes directly into the economy of Costa Rica. They are all small businesses.

Great trip with great people - We had a fantastic tour with Melvin and Julio. During our trip, our group of 13 got to see waterfalls, walk on a live crater, get in the thermal springs, swim in the base of the waterfall, and eat a delicious lunch. Our group included people of all ages (children, teens, young adults, and grandparents) everyone had a blast. If you are in Costa Rica, book this trip now. You will not be sorry.

Use them while in Costa Rica!!! - We had an amazing time with this company. From start to finish I felt like my family was a priority. Melvin started the tour off by saying he's not only a tour guide but our new Costa Rican friend. He made it a point to get to know each of our names. He made sure we were comfortable the entire tour. They were super flexible and accommodating. We never felt rushed. Our driver Julio was the best he was super quick on his feet and made sure to get us where we were going safely. We had such a great experience. I would recommend this company over any of the other companies.

Absolute Pura Vida - Erlan put together an amazing couple of days for our family. From jet skiing from the resort through the beautiful ocean water passing Monkey Head Island, dolphins, beautiful native birds and breathtaking views to stop beachside to see a majestic cave that only the eyes can describe! This day was followed by a day on the sea fishing where were caught tuna! This tuna cleaned, prepared, and made into delicious fresh ceviche by, Milo, our deckhand, right on the water! The next adventure was the most memorable and amazing day! We were taken by private tour with Pablo! What can I say about Pablo? He was like having a family member take us around to all of his personal favorite places! First we hiked to a majestic 75 ft waterfall and swam at the base! Then we saw the most exhilarating views in the rainforest to include baby sloths, white faced monkeys, beautiful lizards, colorful birds, poisonous snakes, and the most vibrant flowers and plants! Our guide David, in the rainforest was terrific teaching us about the rainforest and all that we saw. He even had us eat a termite!!! When we came out of the rainforest we ate a traditional Costa Rican lunch! We ended our day at the base of an active volcano where we laid in a mud bath and then soaked in the natural hot springs!! Pablo even stopped for us at a McDonald’s just so we could see the menu!! What a day!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend these guys to any and everyone for a real “Pura Vida” experience!

Great Service and great experience - My sisters and I went to Liberia in June and we had an absolute blast. We didn't have an excursion for one of the days and we ended up talking to Erlan and he was able to accommodate us very last minute and the service was exceptional. The boat drivers were super attentive and funny. They also had a cooler on the boat for drinks. We went to playa del coco via boat and the views were outstanding...completely recommend Erlan and his team.
