Bar El Ancla - Once you have checked in with the Catamaran representative upon arrival to the beach you
will board small dinghy that will take to you the larger catamaran vessel.
Set sail on and glide along the pacific coast watching for whales, dolphins, turtles, leaping rays and flying fish. Stop at a secluded bay and begin your snorkel adventure
as the crew prepares a light meal and delicious snacks. (Please note - Actual wildlife sightings vary from day to day)
Later, the crew will pull anchor and raise the sails so you can motor slowly across the bay. The crew will anchor once again, so you can watch the spectacular pacific sunset as the sky explodes into a multitude of colors. Tour ends as the sun sinks below the horizon. Open bar is included for duration of tour

Embark on a snorkeling sunset catamaran sail along the Pacific Ocean, observing humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, turtles, and flying fish. Immerse yourself in a secluded bay with snorkeling gear provided. Enjoy an open bar throughout the journey, complemented by a light meal and tasty snacks prepared by the crew. As the anchor is hoisted, and sails run up, witness the Pacific’s sunset sky burst into a myriad of vibrant hues. The adventure concludes with the setting of the sun below the horizon.
- Not recommended for children aged 2 and under
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Weather permitting. Crew reserves the right to determine if necessary to cancel. If crew cancels, refund or alternate tour will be provided, dependent upon availability
- Not recommended for person with disability that would preclude them from boarding catamaran via smaller skiff that could be rocking and unstable when standing.
- Not responsible for damage to personal items brought on tour. Bring personal items at your own risk.

Pick up is on the beach. Check in with the boat rep prior to 1:15PM. Representative will have a Marlin del Rey shirt for identification.

Beautiful Sunset - I appreciated being picked up at our hotel for this excursion, however, people from the other hotel that we were picking up from weren't ready on time so we spent quite a bit of time waiting on them. We were dropped off right at the Coco Beach location that we were to take the dingy boat to the catamaran. Food was amazing on board and the snorkeling was okay (just not much to see). The boat crew was very friendly and it was a gorgeous sunset! Super fun experience for my family!

Family Fun - The entire excursion was a blast. The ride to the cove where we swam was relaxing and the views were amazing. Once we got to the cove I snorkeled, saw lots of beautiful fish, my wife and daughter swam and we all jumped off the side of the boat. We met some great people from our home state which was nice and drank margaritas, piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. The food was good and the crew was awesome. I’d definitely book this tour again.

Fun in the sun - Great excursion & the catamaran is quite nice. Dillon was awesome & serviced us with drinks around the clock with a smile on his face. I do feel the music could have been better. Only Latin music was played on the first stretch…I feel they could mix it more with R&B, easy listening & pop music.
Also the food was quite tasty. Overall a good excursion. Didn’t snorkel so no review on that part, we just chilled on the catamaran.

Fun way to experience the wildlife - This was a great way to end our trip to Costa Rica. The crew was fun, the drinks were good on the open bar, and we saw a lot of wildlife.

Sting Rays and Sunset - It was a very relaxing day, we saw sting rays and multiple colored fish. The captain positioned the boat perfectly to watch a spectacular sunset. The lunch provided was tasty, the music was fun, the crew was excellent! We met alot of people and enjoyed a nice relaxing day together.

Relaxing and fun day on the water - A great afternoon on the water. Great drinks and food! Staff was wonderful! The snorkeling wasn’t the best because the water wasn’t very clear. But we still stayed in and enjoyed the water for almost 2 hours!

Great evening! - The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We were in good hands. Snorkeling was very sub par. Don't expect to see much in the murky waters. Sunset was amazingly beautiful though and there was plenty of drink and fun. Food was ok.
