• Banana River Manatee Refuge - The Banana River Manatee Refuge stands as one of the select few locales globally where the West Indian Manatees are visible. This region is renowned for sightings of substantial gatherings of both manatees and dolphins, making it an exceptional spot for paddle boarding or kayaking throughout Florida.
• Thousand Islands - Situated adjacent to Cocoa Beach on the Banana River, the Thousand Islands Conservation Area spans 338 acres and is comprised of a myriad of islands within the Indian River Lagoon. Accessible predominantly by boat or kayak, these islands exceed a count of 1000 and serve as a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including storks, dolphins, manatees, and roseate spoonbills, in addition to rare and endangered flora. Our journey will include a brief visit to this area, lasting approximately 30 minutes.
