This tour was one of the... - This tour was one of the highlights of our Colombia trip! Our guide Adriana was the absolute best - we were so well taken care of and she made sure we had the best experience possible. The Cocora Valley walk was gorgeous - and we were in awe of the scenery. The coffee farm tour was well beyond our expectations - it was so fun, we learned a lot, and were fully entertained by Jonathan.

Coffee Farm Tour and Valle de Cocora - Laura and Juan were super nice and accompanied us all day. We were picked up by Pereira and also brought back to the accommodation. Laura also fed us stories, facts and myths about Colombia the whole time. We had lunch together - local and authentic - even if it was not included in the price, because we were hungry and asked for it. The coffee tour and the walk in the Valle de Cocora were both great and a must if you are in Colombia. So it was good value for money even if you initially think it is a lot.

Day of 10 - Pedro was 10. We had a great day. It had super varied information and was super nice and smiling throughout. He worried about our comfort at all times and answered all the questions that came up. Besides, he took us to eat some delicious empanadas. We are leaving Salento very happy.

Loved the tour - We would 100% recommend the tour to anyone wishing to make the best out of Cocora Valley and a coffee farm tour in a single day. Yazmín, our guide for the day, picked us up at our accommodation in Salento at 8:30. We then drove approximately 20 minutes to the Luger Coffee Farm. The session on the farm started with a theoretical part wherein Lio (one of the guides at Luger) taught us the whole process of how coffee is made (from bean to cup). The theoretical session was then put into practice with harvesting our own coffee beans and living through the whole process of preparing the bean, drying, roasting it, and eventually making our own coffee. Lio was a well-spoken, knowledgeable, and authentic guide, answering all our questions and more. From the farm, we drove 30 minutes to the Cocora Valley, where we did the 4.5 km version of the hike. Yazmín told us a lot of interesting background about the place and the vegetation. The hike itself offers a wonderful view of the famous palm trees and the whole valley in general. Certain parts of the hike were quite crowded as this is "the" tourist spot in Salento. Nonetheless, the view was definitely worth it. Regarding physical effort, the walk was nothing special. Although it's uphill all the way, the paths are quite wide. The whole tour includes some coffee and local snacks but no lunch (which you know upfront). When the tour was over, Yazmín took us to a local restaurant in Salento for a late lunch (at our own cost). Thanks to Yazmín for taking care of us and showing us a great day in Salento and its surroundings.
