Awesome trip - After our great experience with Fabian on the zipline hammock tour, we decided to book another activity with him - great decision! 🙌🏻
After the 2hr drive from Medellin we climbed up the peñol, walked through Guatape including some cool places off the beaten track (s/o Fabian!) and then had a tasty lunch and went back.
This was a fun experience and Fabian was great at giving us a special and personal tour despite the tourist crowds in Guatape.

Unforgettable!!! - We booked a last-minute trip with Ecoventure, and it was an amazing decision! Fabian, our guide, made the day unforgettable with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We started early at the stunning Rock of Guatapé, where Fabian shared fascinating details about the history and the incredible views from the top. Afterward, we explored the colorful town of Guatapé and enjoyed some delicious local coffee. The day ended with a visit to a replica of the old El Penol, offering a unique perspective.
Fabian’s attention to detail and thoughtful approach made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to Ecoventure and Fabian, we ended the year with unforgettable memories. We’ll definitely be back to explore more and look forward to reconnecting in the future!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! Memories won’t soon be forgotten! - Start to finish this tour was top notch! Diego our guide is an amazing person. He is personable, so friendly and just a genuine human. He came to get us at our hotel on time, actually early, but we were ready. He was our photographer and videographer which was great! This was mine and my husband’s first time paragliding so we were a bit nervous. Diego and our pilots Raul and Santiago made us feel safe and comfortable. It’s worth it to pay the $60,00 COP for GoPro. The quality is great and they upload it to your phone for you! El Penol and Guatapé were also fantastic! It was super convenient to do all 3 excursions in one day! It’s quite a drive from Medellin. About an hour and a half. The drive is beautiful! This tour is not so overwhelming and long that you’re beat at the end of it, and you will have Diego all to yourself keeping you entertained. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Go Ecoventure’s and request Diego! You won’t regret it!!!

Best excursion and Best guide! - What an amazing day out with Fabian! He was simply the BEST guide - full of life and information, super friendly and his English was so good - we had fun helping each other learn more words in English / Spanish. The excursion was so fun and so reasonably priced. He was amazing with my 11 yr old and even taught her some magic! We will be back!

5 star Guatape and Coffee Experience - What an amazing day! We rebooked with Ecoventure (Day 1 was ATV and Whitewater rafting) a day trip package to Guatape and Coffee experience. 5 start private experience. We did SO much and never felt rushed. Do yourself and your family a favor and book with them. Ask for Diego as your guide, he is the best. Will return! Merino Family

Great nature adventure - Absolutely gorgeous waterfall! Zipline is also an incredible experience. Highly recommend you drink the coffee on the other end of the zipline.

The most MAGICAL day touring Guatape!! - Today was an unforgettable day touring Guatapé, from start to finish, thanks to our fantastic guide, Fabián. Our day began with a boat ride around Guatape with wakeboarding and then a helicopter tour and visit to the iconic Peñol Rock! We ended the day exploring the colorful streets of Guatapé and Fabian guided us through the town, sharing information about the local culture and history. His enthusiasm and passion for the city were infectious, making the tour incredibly engaging. We went to a local restaurant Fabian recommended and the food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect. Adding to the fun, Fabian (AKA the Colombian Criss Angel) entertained us with the coolest magic tricks and made the time between destinations fly by always keeping us entertained. Highly recommend Ecoventures for customizing an incredible tour around Guatapé! Thank you Fabian for an incredible day!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Incredible views and kindest guide - Cannot recommend this enough to anyone visiting Medellín. First of all, booking a private trip is the way to go when traveling to Colombia, but specifically with this tour when the traveling can be quite lengthy. Exploring at your own pace provides incredible benefits, especially when you are paired up with a guide that has incredible knowledge of the region.
Fabiàn was our guide for the day, and we could not be more grateful to have had him drive us to both places. Fabiàn is patient, caring, very careful and always answers questions with thoughtfulness. He is fluent in English and welcomes the practice from any traveler, which was both brave and incredibly accommodating as well. We started with the paragliding and ended with the tour of Guatapé and the Peñol rock. Each step of the way, he provided sound advice and kept a careful eye on the road, making us feel incredibly safe and welcome.
Thank you again, Fabiàn for ushering such an incredible experience. I cannot recommend this excursion enough!!

Highly recommend - Great driver/tour guide who spoke great English and gave us lots of flexibility. Would absolutely use again.
The paragliding was unbelievable. This was our first time and we were in the air for 15 minutes with the guide.

Highlight of our trip - Our first paragliding experience is definitely one for the books! Though my family like to travel, we havent done anything like this before. I was nervous at first and almost did not book it but I’m glad we did! It was amazing! The views were spectacular. My daughter was more chill than me lol and she wanted to do it again. We also did the Guatapé tour with it… beautiful little town. We hiked up and down the Rock. The views from the top were amazing. Our guide, Julian, is very knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot from him. He also took us to a cute little petting zoo after lunch which was a nice surprise to my daughter. She had a lot of fun feeding llamas, alpacas and horses.
