A highly enjoyable and interesting tour. - The history of the chateau and the tour of the chateau. I most enjoyed the lovely aromas of the cognac, as they changed from building to building. The beautiful taste of the cognac was memorable. A most enjoyable, interesting and memorable tour.

Amazing experience, out of the ordinary - You won't see the classic "distillery" but a real castle full of history. Kings and other famous figures dwelled the place, and every room has something to tell. Cognac was superb,of course.

Wonderful tour of history - My girlfriend and I went for the English variety. Because of the postseason there were only two of us. Unexpectedly a private tour! Had a very nice tour with an articulate lady with humor. They answer all our questions. Beautiful tour with rich history and no other fuss.
The tasting was also great. In a beautiful, newly designed classroom. I personally found amazing interior design and concept. We decided to finish with a cocktail of cognac from the château on the terrace outside. Recommended 🥃

Great experience - After coming as a family, it was a great visit.
Maybe a little expensive fare level but small boat ride.
A very experienced and cultivated guide in this field continue this way

Fine cognac - The Chateau is located near Pont Neuf at the River Charente in Cognac. It is an ancient structure dating from the 10th century and also the home of famous cognac brands Baron Otard and D’Ussé.
A number of different tours are available in English and other languages and we booked the tour “In the heart of the Chateau”. It took about 1 hour and was both a historic tour, which took us to some of the historic rooms of the Chateau and also gave good information about the production of the famous cognacs in the vast cellars of the castle.
At the end of the tour it was possible to taste the products, both traditionally and as a cocktail. Our excellent guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the fascinating history of the Chateau and the cognacs.

Cognac tasting at the castle - Very nice discovery of the Cognac Chateau site followed by a cognac tasting, with a very friendly guide.
So we tried the famous cocktail as a family. Excellent with peach cream. Thanks for the advice.
Thank you for this experience.
Best wishes.

Cognac tour of manufacturers. - Very nice to do a tour of the Cognac makers of France.
Loads of history and our guide really knew his stuff.
Included tastings.
No real examination of the bottling process - just a poster on a wall.
One thing you must do when in Cognac.

A little deceptive - The visit to the castle itself is short for the historical part because in is not remains, in fact not much.
The main thing is a visit to the cellars and an explanation of the winemaking of the cognas with a final tasting.
Overall a little disappointing

Castle of Cognac - This castle is especially highlighted for the production, tasting and sale of cognac. The estate by itself apart from a few busts of François 1st and his family, has no major interest, no furniture, just beautiful empty rooms.
